    Three wards in Funtua LGA were identified as having silent reporting for AFP cases from January to December 2022, representing 27% of cases. To address this, a mitigation plan was developed with the following actions: 1) Conduct retroactive case searches and improve KCI visits for early detection and reporting in the affected wards. 2) Conduct community sensitization on case definitions for AFP and other VPDs. 3) Sensitize SFPs and clinicians on case definitions for AFP and other VPDs. The plan will be implemented from January 29th to February 2nd 2023 by the aPHO, LGAF, FVs, DSNO and ADSNOs.
