Conclusion
The aggregate we used is ideal for bituminous road surface usage since the proportion is less
than 40 percent, 25.8 percent. Based on the JKR Specification, the maximum proportion is 40
percent. The goal of the LA Abrasion Test was to determine the required percentage of aggregate
used for the surfacing of concrete and bituminous roads. For bituminous road surfacing based on
JKR Specification, the overall aggregate used for concrete is 50 percent and 40 percent. The
objective of the experiment was achieved.
