Unusual schools

1 This school is in Bali, Indonesia. It is in the middle of a beautiful forest and it hasn’t got
any walls! The students learn close to nature. Students come from all over the world to
study here. They do many different subjects and they also learn a lot about our planet and
the natural world. They often work in places outside the classroom, for example, the school
gardens or the forest.

2 River Plate School is in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s a school in a football stadium! The
students are 4 to 18 years old. They study many different subjects, but football is a big part
 of school life. All the students at River Plate love football and many students want to be
footballers. It’s their dream!

3 The Door Step School is in the city of Mumbai in India. It is 30 years old. The school has
got a small building in Mumbai, but it is difficult for some children to travel to school. For
these children, there is a school bus. It comes to their homes. Inside the bus, there is a
classroom with a teacher, a whiteboard and a TV. The bus goes to different places in
Mumbai and stops for two hours. Children get on the bus and have lessons in English and
Maths.
