About The Game

Action Taimanin is a mix between Hack and Slash and Gacha. Similar in some ways to games
such as Honkai Impact, premium currency in this game is split between buying characters and
rolling gacha. Gacha has two aspects to it, weapons and supporters. Supporters can have
powerful abilities that help in gameplay while weapons are character specific. You get to choose
one of three starting characters for free, and the game is quite F2P friendly.

Picking Your Starting Character

The first thing you need to do is pick one of the starting characters: Asagi,
Sakura, or Yukikaze. The one you pick really does not matter, Yukikaze and
Sakura both have easy builds that don’t rely on supporters, Sakura using three
blue and Yuki using three green, while Asagi has Koujinka as her gimmick
which can let you cheese some missions.
Asagi
Her main gimmick is Koujinka, think of Witch Time or The World, it slows down all enemies
and lets you attack them at regular speed while they are drastically slowed. With the right build,
you can easily have 100% Koujinka uptime. Her common builds are 2 red (making use of
Koujinka and basic attacks) or 3 green (Renjinka skill build).

Sakura
Double daggers user. She has a very quick but short-range basic combo. Her best build is a full
blue build which makes use of her spin attack, Shadow Cleave.

Yukikaze
One of two ranged characters, being ranged she is able to cheese harder content by running and
gunning. She has decent damage and many builds.
Post Tutorial

You’ve finished the tutorial, now what?

The first priority is to clear up to Easy Chapter 5 to unlock Special Mode, Time Attack, Event.
Once you finish Chapter 5, finishing up the current event is the priority. While grinding event,
you can hit Rank 20 to unlock Arena which is a good source of gems.

Things to keep in mind: At rank 5 you’ll receive a Bathrobe Voucher for one of the three starting
characters. The costume just provides a minor buff to the character, so your choice doesn’t really
matter.
Picking Your First UR

At commander rank 10, you will receive a ticket that lets you pick one of three URs. Fuuma
Amane, Major, or Tekkain Kaworu. We recommend that you hold off on using this ticket until
you have done a few gacha rolls, you may get duplicates otherwise. As the regular UR pool
increases, this becomes less likely and the advice applies less.
Fuuma Amane
Amane is good in PvP and PvE and is the most versatile of the three starting URs. In PvP she
stops you from getting combo locked and in PvE she provides good mob control. She is likely
the best pick for your situation.
Major
Major primarily sees usage in PvP. She serves as an anti-meta supporter for Emily, a powerful
machine-type Character in PvP. Nonetheless, Major can still be used in PvE for boss damage,
though generally other supporters are better.

Tekkain Kaworu
Tekkain Kaworu primarily serves as a PvE supporter. She deals a large amount of damage to all
enemies in addition to stunning them, this is good for crowd control and boosted by the fact that
if enemies are stunned, they take additional damage. She can be used in PvP for stunning, but
generally Major or Invulnerability Supporters are used instead.

Events
You have two main goals for events. Clear out all nine boxes to get 5 copies of the free UR
supporter or weapon that is featured and to clear all stages to get a total of 150 gems. Note: never
fuse UR supporters or use weapon tickets immediately unless you have an extremely good
reason.
After getting the UR supporter or Gacha Coin for a box, you can immediately skip ahead to the
next box.

It’s recommended that you go for Gems and AP Potions on at least the last three boxes, so 7, 8,
9.

For farming tickets, Hard 5 gives the best Ticket to Energy ratio, but if it takes too long to clear,
Normal 5 may be faster to clear and it’s not a significant difference. ¾ vs ⅚ efficiency for Hard
vs. Normal so only a .083 difference.

Daily Quests
The best place to farm for materials is Hard, there is a caveat, if you can’t do Hard for gold
farming, Easy is more efficient than Normal. You should only farm the daily material that is
Half-Off. If there are multiple half-off missions, Gold is usually the priority since it is used in
upgrading literally everything. For farming Core Module (Low) Chapter 1 Section 3 is the best.

Upgrading Facilities/Dispatch
Facilities and Dispatch are the best and only way of accruing resources passively in the game.
Dispatch
For dispatch, you want to unlock all of them except for the last one, which costs gems. You
should wait until you have a decent amount of UR supporters from events since all dispatch
missions require at least one UR Supporter.

Facilities
First, you want to unlock all Facilities to level one. After that, you want to get the Crafting
Facility to Level 4 to produce material for upgrading other facilities as well as limit breaking
Taimanin to 70/75. Next upgrade the weapon facility to level two so you can upgrade two
weapons at once. Upgrading random R and SR weapons is a good way of farming supporter
intimacy for gems. Then alternate between EXP and Skill training facilities until maximum.
Finally, you can upgrade the Crafting Facility to level 5 to make materials for Friend Point
Costumes.
Arena

PvP in this game is a great way of getting gems and is surprisingly easy for F2P players. In order
to unlock Arena, you want to farm Prologue Easy until you have enough combat data.
Getting to Top Class
If you play smart you really only need your starter character to get to top class, but this will be
difficult for newer players. I highly recommend getting Rinko/Emily/Kurenai as they can carry
you in PvP with a 2 Taimanin team with a fair amount of ease. You fight AI all the way up until
you hit 6000 points which is Top Class. Every time you promote a large tier, you will need to
win two out of three games. Once you hit Top Class you will be fighting AI for the first five
games, then if you have a five-game win streak you will fight another person in Top Class. In all
likelihood, you will lose unless you have a team of level 75 Taimanin with maxed Viridian
Arena Weapons. When the season ends, if you are in top class you will receive 75 gems, 3200
Arena Coins, and 2 Arena Reward Box (DX). Your score will also be set back by 1000. This
means if you are below 7000 you will be sent back to Gold and have to repromote.

Arena Coins
Arena coins are primarily used for one thing, getting Arena UR Weapons, which is good if you
can’t get a UR weapon for a new character during their debut gacha. You need a total of 10,000
arena coins in order to get one copy of a UR weapon. This means if you are relying on the
passive income from the top-class it will take you three weeks. If you min-max your Attack
Points you can pretty consistently hit 10,000 coins a week with some coin boosting. In terms of
Arena Weapons, there are three types, Crimson, Viridian, and Amber. Crimson reduces damage
taken from Ultimates, Viridian reduces the crit rate of incoming attacks, and Amber reduces the
length of debuffs. Due to the nature of the game, Crimson and Amber passive effects rarely
apply and players typically use Viridian weapons for both PvP and PvE. You can use Arena
Coins to roll the Crest gacha for increased coin reward crests, but this should only be done if you
have an excess of Arena Coins and you should only roll the 10x gacha to save the most coins.

Battle Potions
You should only use battle potions if you plan on staying in the top 100 for a given week.
Staying in the Top 100 is very competitive and you need to have Battle Potions to farm points as
well as a maxed-out team.

Friend Points
Friend points are used to buy Gold and Friend Boxes which can provide material for crafting
costumes. You want to keep your friend list as close to 50 as often as possible and try to use
Give FP twice a day since it will reward you with FP for giving other people FP. Again you want
to buy Gold/Friend Boxes in the highest amount since that saves the most Friend Points.
Upgrading Weapons/Supporters
There are three tiers of upgrade items: Low, Medium, High.
Upgrading Weapon/Supporter costs are based on its level:
- At level 1: Costs 100 Gold per upgrade item
- At level 30: Costs 3000 Gold per upgrade item
The cost is unrelated to the upgrade item tier, meaning, it's best to upgrade using the High tier
items, or upgrading all at once. Weapons can be upgraded using the Weapon Facility so it's better
to just stick it in the Weapon Facility until maxed (optionally use 10 Enhancement Stones if at
level 1 before leaving it in the Weapon Facility). Upgrading is costly, recommended for players
starting out to just max (without awakening) the main supporter for now. Sub
supporters/weapons give a small percentage of the stats (5% - 15%, depending on skill level) so
it might not be worth upgrading just yet. Merging two supporters/weapons ("Improve Skill") and
leveling up via upgrades ("Upgrade") are independent of each other. They can be done at
separate times at any time with no loss.

Magatama
Magatamas provide small stat boosts to weapons. You can slot up to four magatamas on a fully
upgraded UR weapon. The only magatama that really matter are Crit (Yellow) Magatama and
Attack (Red) Magatama. You can farm SR Crit and Attack magatamas in Time Attack Stage 3
(Normal). Magatamas can be upgraded to level 5 before being awoken to reset their level and
unlock a passive ability. This awakening can be done a total of 5 times. If you get a shitty ability,
you can also reroll specific abilities.

Gems
It’s what you’ve all been waiting for, the premium currency of Action Taimanin. Fortunately,
this game is a lot more F2P than most gacha games. The good people of discord have calculated
that F2P players can get around 333 gems a week. Given that new characters cost either 1000 or
1200 gems, this is a new character every three to four weeks. Generally, you only want to spend
gems on discount pulls and buying new characters.

For purchasing gems, Monthly Pass and Helping Hands will be your best deal, but there require
consistent logging in, otherwise, the more gems you buy, the better the deal.

GamblingGacha
Of course, how can we forget gacha, the most important part of the game. There are four systems
affiliated with gacha in this game, Gacha Coins, Mileage, Shop of Desires, and Gacha Tickets.

Gacha Coin
Gacha coins cannot be used on Limited Banners, i.e. banners that cost 250/500 gems to pull. If
you have 10+ Gacha coins, you will be unable to pull discount rolls until you spend your gacha
coins.
Mileage
This really only applies to whales. You get 10 Mileage per every pull using gems. There is a
mileage shop with UR weapons that cost 10,000 Mileage and a power UR supporter, Shisui that
costs 15,000 Mileage. Finally, Merci is what most F2P players will be buying from the mileage
shop. Merci mainly gives a chance for an additional item to drop when doing stages.

Desire
You get 1 desire per pull, and desire caps off at 100. You can use the desire to buy a guaranteed
copy of featured units on most banners. You can also buy a variety of Gacha Tickets. Usually
what people will do is once they hit 100 desire, unless they are aiming for a specific
supporter/weapon , they’ll buy an SR Gacha ticket for 20desire and 40 gems so they don’t waste
desire.

Gacha Tickets
Gacha tickets pull from the normal loot pool. There are three levels of gacha tickets, rare, SR,
and UR. There are also three types of gacha tickets, general tickets, weapon tickets, and
supporter tickets. Usually people hoard tickets for the release of a character and try to use tickets
to get a UR weapon for that character. Alternatively, its not a bad idea to spend tickets now and
pray for Kuonji R. Spica, a powerful invulnerability supporter that's extremely good in both PvP
and PvE. I recommend this because the pool is still relatively small, and as time gets on, more
and more supporters will be added to the Standard Pool and the chance of getting Spica will drop
lower and lower.

Characters
You should always buy for waifu, but if you’re going for the meta, the general recommendation
for F2P players is to buy Emily, then whichever one you didn’t buy or Kurenai. Both of these are
extremely good in PvP and PvE and are on a level way above the rest of the cast in terms of
balance, or lack of.
Asagi
PvP
A common Asagi PvP build is 2 red, 1 blue, to increase Koujinka duration by 50%. This build
also makes use of her basic combo with Taimanin Arts. Can be used with her air combo skill,
Hirenka. A good red supporter to have as the main supporter in Arena is Major.
Skills: Hirenka, Koujinka, Taimanin Art
PvE
Recommended build A: 3 Green
To increase Renjinka damage by 150%. Renjinka is a continuous stabbing skill and you will be
able to cleave through bosses’ HP quickly with this build.
Skills: Renjinka, Koujinka, Taimanin Art

A 3 green renjinka build is nearly impossible to play as a new player since they will not have the
support hp and def to survive to even do the attack reliably. Any skill that roots you into place is
risky and yes you WILL get hit during it a lot. You can’t always rely on koujinka to be on the
same cd to combo it. It’s especially bad if you don’t even have the ATK to break enemies armor
in time to stunlock them.

3 red
Skills: Munika, Koujinka, Taimanin Art
The more popular and safer build for Asagi. Getting a longer duration koujinka makes the game
a lot easier to play, especially for a beginner. With the 3 red build you can take munika which
actually will stop an enemy from moving in koujinka entirely because of the added speed debuff.
Sakura

Sakura is the most beginner friendly in the game and is the easiest to break into the higher
difficulties due to her quick damage and self healing. She is one of the easiest characters to play
in pve.

PvP
PvE
3 blue
Skills : Shadow cleave , Shadow Spin , Dual Edge Flurry

Shadow spin is great to use whenever it’s off cd for an extra quick attack, it also restores 5% of
your HP on hit which is super useful.

Shadow cleave is your bread and butter, basically just charge it and let it rip and watch Sakura
automatically teleport around slicing up enemies. If you are lucky enemies will be close to each
other and you can hit multiple enemies at the same time.

Dual Edge Flurry is one of the best passive taimanin arts in the game simply because her attack
is a GUARANTEED knockdown on enemies if their armor is broken.( Doesn’t work on bosses )
Sakura has one of the worst normal combos in the game without this ability but with it she has
one of the best.

Yukikaze
Yuki has the most interesting play style out of the 3 starting characters. She is a ranged character
that has a very strong keep away game. She is also very desirable to have on your pvp team for
her harassing abilities.

PvP

PvE
3 Green
Skills : Raijuudan, Raiun, Spark or Hiraiten
Raijuudan is a very strong build and partially the reason why you go 3 green. Setting a main
green triples the bullet size making it a massive floating orb of death with a large aoe radius. You
can push enemies into it as it keeps moving for extra damage as well.

Raiun is your big aoe damage. Yuki will jump into the air and nuke anybody below her while
regaining 2% health on damage dealt. The skill can easily restore 50% of your health because of
the synergy with 250% extra crit damage you get with 3 green. Even though Yuki jumps into the
air and looks safe during it, she isn’t. You can quite frequently get knocked out of it by certain
enemies so it is not always reliable.

Spark is a very strong dodge ability which is worth taking since you will be dodging as yuki a
lot to keep your distance with enemies. 2 green gives it 30% extra damage and it attacks multiple
enemies so what’s n ot to love about free damage.

Hiraiten if you choose not to take Spark then Hiraiten will give you extra damage with a useful
groggy debuff that 3 gives. It is a very hard hitting attack with no real downsides.

Rinko

Rinko places within the top 3 and is considered to be the best character by many.
PvP
3 Blue
Skills: Wind Slice, Meteor Impact, The Shift
Preferable to have supporters that reduce enemies’ damage for PvP. Full blue Wind Slice causes
groggy, which is great against single opponents in PvP. Full blue also increases Meteor Impact
damage by 150%, which is a huge single damage skill. The Shift is for fighting against ranged
opponents, such as Yukikaze, as it reduces the distance between them.

PvE
3 Blue

Skills : Meteor Impact, Wind Slice or Spatial Rift, Itto Style Ichi-no-Kata

Meteor is the best aoe skill in the game. With the proper gear and supports it can crit up to 120k
damage in a single hit.

Wind Slice is a straight forward dash attack to get more damage with meteor is on cooldown.
You can replace it with with Spatial Rift for certain missions to make meteor nuking quicker.
Spatial rift can be useful on certain missions but entirely worthless in others, it will only pull in
enemies that have their armor broken or have no armor. A great example of it working great is
the hard gold daily since you will get multiple waves of demon worms that don’t even have an
armor bar.

Itto Style Ichi-no-Kata gives rinko super armor on her final hits of her normal combo which is
very useful along with the extra damage on each hit. With the correct timing and luck you can
easily keep enemies armor broken the entire time.

Murasaki

A lot of people sleep on Murasaki simply because of her slower attack speed. Her slower attack
speed is balanced out by her hitting like a truck and getting super armor on NORMAL attacks in
her combo without a need of any skills or passives. She is a very strong character and easily
places within the top 5.
PvP
PvE

2 Blue 1 red
Skills : Greataxe:Setsuga, Fushi-no-Jin, Taimanin Art
OR
2 blue 1 green
Skills : Greataxe:Setsuga, Fushi-no-Jin, Tentacle mine

Greataxe:Setsuga the “best” spin to win attack in the game. It has the biggest aoe and overall
damage. The reason for this 2 blue 1 red split is because Greataxe:Setsuga only benefits greatly
off ⅔ blue. You can only truly take advantage of the extra 250% extra crit damage if you use
Murasaki’s SR crit % axe or have perfect magatamas for high crit %. The SR axe at 5/5 gives
you 28% extra crit which is massive. The 250% extra crit damage with 3/3 blue isn’t worth
taking over a red or green support that can give you more passive damage for the rest of your
abilities and normal attacks.

Taimanin Art is a very strong combo to use for extra damage when Greataxe:Setsuga is on
cooldown. Don’t mistake it with Igawa Style: Omo-no-kata, most other characters have their
passive ability named Taimanin art but Murasaki has an actual skill named Taimanin art.
Murasaki’s Igawa Style: Omo-no-kata passive is the worst in the game and offers no real benefit
vs taking another skill.

Fushi-no-Jin may be the best counter in the game for pve because of how quick and powerful it
is. You can easily cancel and use it mid of your normal combo if you see that you are about to be
hit for an instant 360 degree counter that will hit everything near you. If you use the 2 blue 1
green build and take tentacle mine then you will get the extra benefit of a 15% movement speed
bonus which is MASSIVE in terms of your damage output. Movement speed buffs are possibly
the best buffs in the game because it increases your speed for EVERYTHING including all of
your attacks and skills.

Su
Su is the most technical character to play with unique mechanics that no other character in the
game has. She has the ability to dodge mid combo and keep the position of her combo giving her
all sorts of unique perks that other characters don’t have. Most characters can only dodge twice
in a row but Su is the only character in the game that can dodge 3 times. She also has the most
unique ultimate since it is not a fullscreen nuke, instead it transforms her into a super mode that
changes her combos that have massive aoe and range. You can’t use abilities during the duration
of her ult but it gives her god mode while it is active. It is typically considered weaker than a
normal ult since she actually deals LESS damage in this form but it has it’s uses if you want to
deal large aoe damage without the risk of taking damage.
PvP
PvE

Su has a lot of very useful builds for pve.

2 Red 1Blue
Skills : Ryuuhasin, Shoujinkyaku / Senrenka , Taimain Art: Blaze Dance

Ryuuhasin is her bread and butter that lets out a quick massive aoe around her that you can
quickly cancel into off of any attack in your combo chain. Having 1 blue is what gives this attack
it’s massive aoe range.

Shoujinkyaku is a tricky counter to get used to using since it requires you to get hit with a very
small window to activate it. You will get hit a lot of the time so it is a good trade off for instant
retaliation. When activated it does a very hard hitting aoe all around her giving her 8 seconds of
super armor on a 9 second cooldown from the 2 red bonus.

Senrenka is a very strong alternative if you do not want to use the counter. It instantly teleports
to random enemies dealing very strong damage. It is exceptionally deadly if you are using it on a
single target. You have the option to add 2 more attacks with a blue main or a 15% damage
bonus for 5 seconds with a red main. Blue main is typically better unless you want to buff
yourself for a big Ryuuhashin nuke with the 15% extra damage.

Taimain Art: Blaze Dance is a very strong taimanin art in this game. It adds a lot of very
powerful attacks at the end of her combo. Su has the ability to keep her combo position after
dodging letting you really bring out the full damage of these final hits. You can even buffer your
combo and start the next fight with your hardest hitting attacks since dodging will save your
position even if you run around.

3 Blue
Skills: Ryuuhashin, Ryuurinkou / Senrenka , Taimain Art: Blaze Dance

Ryuuhashin has the same uses as the previous build of it being a massive aoe, but it has an extra
function from 2 blue. There will now be a new final hit of the attack that hits for massive damage
and shoots out a projectile that goes out straight and can pierce anything in front of you. The 3
blue bonus is 250% crit damage so the damage gap can be very wide if you do not have high crit
to take advantage of it.
Ryuurinkou is a nice dodge counter to have quick super armor. The 3 blue gives 35% reduced
damage which is nice since you will be trading blows with super armor quite often.

Senrenka is mostly the same from the previous build just for quick extra damage

3 Green
Skills: Nakuryuusou , Shinryuuga / Ryuurinkou , Taimain Art: Blaze Dance

Nakuryuusou is a very destructive AOE on a short cooldown. When leveled up it will be around
9 seconds. It can be tricky getting used to it at first since most AOEs in this game will have you
rooted in place, but this skill has Su jumping forward and blasting the area in front of her.
Getting the distance down is important for this attack to be effective.

Shinryuuga is an effective and quick skill that does decent damage and gives you 8 seconds of
super armor on a 10 second cooldown.

Ryuurinkou is a decent alternative to Shinryuuga if you prefer a dodge counter to activate super
armor. 3 green gives 100% increased duration on your super amror.
Shiranui

Shiranui is considered by many to be the “worst” character in the game due to her very
underwhelming normal combo in combination of long animations with no super armor. She does
have some above average skills which make her fun to play so not all is lost.
PvP
PvE
3 Green build
Skills : Yuugengoku, Shinenshinshoku, Taimanin Art: Waterflow OR
Sougetsuin

Yuugengoku is one of the best aoe skills in the game due to its massive range and destructive
power combined with a very short 10 second cooldown. It hits all enemies 3 times in a large 360
degree radius around Shiranui with the final hit being a knockdown. The negatives of this skill is
that it is not casted instantly and you can be easily interrupted out of the it making it go on full
cooldown. Learning the maximum range can be tricky as well since it does not match up with the
visuals.

Shinenshinshoku is the best dodge skill in the game without a doubt. On dodge it will attack
every enemy around Shiranui automatically and is super strong in any build. This is one of the
main reasons to even play as Shiranui.

Taimanin Art: Waterflow would be the worst Taimanin Art in the game if it wasn’t for
Murasaki. Despite it being bad there isn’t much else worth taking over it because of how
frequently you will be using your normal combo. The extra passive damage is nice but the final
hit you gain with taking the skill has a very high chance to miss or not do full damage at all. It
also has a very long animation which doesn’t help it out. You can frame cancel the final hit as
the spikes come out to optimize your damage but if you cancel too early you won’t get all the
spikes.
Sougetsuin is a great alternative to Taimanin Art: Waterflow since you get a very strong ranged
attack with a 15% speed buff that lasts for 10 seconds on a 13s skill cd.
Or

2 Red 1 blue or 3 Red

Skills: Senkou, Shinenshinshoku,Taimanin Art: Waterflow OR Sougetsuin

Senkou is a very quick hard hitting attack that restores your health on hit. The reason
why I say go 2 red is because 250% crit damage is really only worth it if you have a high
crit base to begin with. You can go 3 red if you take Sougetsuin over Taimanin Art:
Waterflow and use the extra 20% crit rate buff to synergize the crit, but ideally you will
still want to back it up with magatamas and her SR crit weapon for more crit %.

Sougetsuin gives a 20% crit rate buff which is very useful if you want to maximize crit rate for 3
red with Senkou’s 250% crit damage bonus.

Emily
Emily is the most “unique” character in the game. She is the only character in the game that has
an ability that automatically attacks for you without even having to look at the enemy. She is
easily within the top 3 characters in the game and highly recommended as the first character new
players buy if they want to get into clearing all of the hardest content easier and getting easy
arena wins.. Anything written here is mostly just to give you a rough idea of what works with
her, you can basically use any kind of setup with Emily and the content will be very easy for
you.
PvP

PvE

2 red 1 blue or green

Or
1 red 1 blue 1 green
Skills : Homing bullets, Ground Shock, Zero System

Homing bullets is a very important skill to take since it automatically shoots out rockets dealing
massive damage to any enemy in range. This skill is the entire reason to go 1 red 1 blue 1 green
to get every bonus it offers if you want the most low effort build as possible.

Ground Shock is her best AOE ability and the only reason to take 2 red for the 20% speed
debuff it gives to enemies. The speed debuff is super useful if you just want to run away and play
it safe while she does damage from afar. It also has an interesting defensive capability since it
raises you in the air which can let you avoid certain attacks. You can still get hit out of it
sometimes since some enemies have funky hitboxes, but you will mostly be safe while you are in
the air. You can easily change this skill out for another one if you don’t like it, I just prefer big
aoe damage since Emily is all single target damage otherwise for the most part. I also like red
supports since they give the most offensive passives which is just free damage.

Zero System is the most important skill for Emily and is what makes her so powerful. Zero
system automatically attacks for you no matter what you are doing. Even if you get stunned or
knocked down it will keep attacking. You can get good clear times with Emily just by running
around with your back to the enemy while the damage piles up. Another neat benefit of Zero
System is that when all the enemies die in a certain area of the map it will automatically move
Emily to the next part of the map on it’s own if you really don’t feel like playing the game.
Players always joke around and say Emily is for players that don’t want to play the game
because she quite literally plays the game for you. The only downside of Zero System is that it
will only target one enemy at a time and you cannot change targets. Also it follows line of sight
so if another enemy gets infront of your locked on target they will absorb the damage instead of
your target.
Kurenai
Kurenai places within the top 3 characters in the game and is the definition of power creep. She
easily has the best normal attack combo in the game and can easily clear hard content just by
button mashing with it and using no skills.

PvP

Build A: Red main, 2 blue

Skills: Deflecting Wind, Shinganji Dual Wield Style

Deflecting Wind is a counterattack skill and very useful. Having a red supporter as the main
supporter can make opponents groggy if hit by Deflecting Wind. As well as having a low
cooldown, it is very good in Arena.

PvE

2 red 1 blue

Skills: Tornado Rend, Storm Zone, Shinganji Dual Wield Style

Tornado Rend is a very fun skill and the best aoe option for Kurenai. 2 Red makes the tornado
stay in place hurting everything around it. Another benefit is that it’s only a 9 second cooldown
and the tornado stays around and overlaps the skill cooldown for a few seconds.

Storm Zone is also another quick AOE and is ideally used as a combo ender after your normal
combo. The real purpose of the skill though is for a big aoe that also acts as a launcher which
kocks enemies down. This can even work on some bosses which will give you some breathing
room. You can even get under any launched enemy to “juggle” them in the air with your normal
combo.

Shinganji Dual Wield Style is just free damage. Kurenai has the best normal attack combo in
the game so why not buff it even more?
Oboro

Oboro has the fastest normal attack combo in the game but she has some unfortunate balance
issues to some of her skills. Most of her big attack skills are not very good and she doesn’t have
a lot of big damage options.

PvP

PvE
3 Green
Skills : Vicious Slasher , Wicked Slasher, Taimanin Art: Claws

Vicious Slasher is the best of Oboro’s attacks so green build it is. Vicious Slasher is a ranged
attack that shoots out several ranged hits directly in front of her that pierce and damage
everything in its path. You cannot rotate the attack after you start it so you will have to line your
targets up and commit.

Wicked Slasher is like your typical dash attack that most characters have, but Oboro’s can
behave a bit differently in the corner. The attack hits several times so if you have an enemy in the
corner or against the wall you can get max damage from the skill which is a nice trick to know.
Going 3 green also gives you a 20% speed bonus which is very strong in combination with
Oboro’s already quick normal combo.

Taimanin Art: Claws is a taimanin art not as useful compared to other characters but it is still
30% extra damage with 50% particle gain. It can be swapped out to other skills if you do not find
the passive effects to be that useful. Crescent Bloom or Shadow Strike are viable alternatives.

1 Red 1 Green 1 Blue

Skills : Vicious Slasher, Crescent Bloom, Taimanin Art: Claws

This build is mostly the same as the previous, the difference is that you are trying to stack as
much passive damage from supports as you can to maximize your damage.

Crescent Bloom is the only new skill in the build. With R/G/B supports you will have every
bonus making this attack exceptionally deadly. You can activate this at any part of your combo
for an extension and a super powerful finisher. The finisher lands directly below you dealing
massive aoe damage with a knockback effect that knocks enemies down. This skill will also
launch any smaller enemy up into the air isolating them making it mostly safe to kill them with
ease. You can also delay starting the combo mid air for you to get closer to the ground before
you start attacking to actually make attacks hit enemies on the ground and around you for a very
high damage combo. The timing is tricky and it can sometimes be risky since you may get
knocked out of it by the larger enemies but the payoff is massive.

The Numbers
Here we have some calculations for earlier claims for people who don’t believe us or if you’re a
nerd.
Arena Coins
Calculation:
Average coins per match = {(5[match] x 72[coin/match]) + (1[match] x 36[coin/match])} /
6[match] = (360[coin] + 36[coin]) / 6[match] = 66[coin/match]
Average coins per week = 66[coin/match] x 20[match/day] x 7[day/week] = 9,240[coin/week]
Total coins obtained per week (weekly top-class reward included) = 9,240[coin/week] +
3,200[coin/week] = 12,440[coin/week]
Summary: You could easily obtain an arena UR weapon per week.
