28TH Founding Anniversary

NARRATIVE REPORT

Schools remember the day on which they were formed or established each year
by celebrating their foundation days. It is significant not just for how long it has benefited
the neighborhood where a school is located. Also, it is important if the establishment of
the school has significantly benefited the people it serves.

On March 12, Tanglaw National High School Celebrated its 28 th Foundation

Anniversary themed “Overcoming Challenges, Building Resilience, and Sustaining
Excellence in the New Normar”. It was the very first time I set foot on the school. The
juncture was decorated with beautification to make the place more encouraging to the
participants. The band played different acoustics and everyone was amazed at those
students’ talents and presentation. The program started with opening remarks of the
School Principal Mr. Jerome L. Mariano and an inspiring talk from the guest speaker.
Some guests are Alumni of the school. Some delegates from the Local Government of
Braulio E. Dujali were also present to support the said event. They brought several
items as prizes for the small games they had prepared. Later on, the most anticipated
event commenced and some students couldn’t hold back their excitement and they
began shouting to support their classmates in performing for prepared performance
numbers.
The opportunity to educate the students about the modest origins of their
educational institution is one of the main benefits of commemorating the school’s
foundation day. They could be more able to appreciate the advancements they are now
enjoying, which previous students, parents, and school administrators toiled for. It is a
good opportunity for older students who are graduating to think about the legacy they
want to leave for the school that has supported them over the years and for the
remaining kids.
