Subject: Evaluating candidates written communication skills

Hi Liz,

I am glad to share an idea to evaluate the written skills based on the industry standards being
followed across the globe.

Based on the strategy being adapted by IELTS which is being recognized all over the world,
candidates can be evaluated on the scale of 10 based on the following criteria’s:

 Skill of answering question directly and fully while highlighting key.

 Structuring the writing in a logical and organized way with skillful use of connectors as
possible.
 Vocabulary and grammar can also be one of the criteria of the evaluation.

Hope this will be helpful. Let me know if you want to discuss more in detail in person or if you have
any questions.

Thanks,

Maria

Subject: Evaluating candidates written communication skills

Hi Liz:

I am glad to know your opinion regarding the requirement of strong communicational skills for the
front office assistant position. I have come up with some interesting ideas to evaluate the candidate
in terms of written communicational skills. This test will have a time limit of 1 hour and it can be
graded on the scale of 10 based on the following criteria’s:

 Skill of answering question directly and fully while highlighting key.

 Structuring the writing in a logical and organized way with skillful use of connectors as
possible.

 Vocabulary and grammar can also be one of the criteria of the evaluation.

The above-mentioned strategies are being adapted by IELTS and it is recognized all over the world.
This is a subjective assessment which may require a separate space for the candidates without any
interruptions to clear this test.

I hope this will be helpful while conducting the interviews. Let me know if you want to discuss more
in detail in person or you have any questions.

Regards,

Maria
