Tom and the Things he Made

This is Tom. Tom is thirty.


This is the Tooth Fairy!
Tom likes to think and make things.

Vocabulary practice cards
Preparation: Make cards with the word on the front and the picture on the back:
1. Cut on the solid lines only. 2. Fold back to back on the dotted lines 3. Glue the
insides together. Practice: Look at each word and try to remember the meaning.
Then look at each picture and try to remember the word.

Game – “Hangman” (six chances)

Number of players: one or in pairs

1) Making the vocabulary practice cards (above).


2) Listening: With all the white cards open on the table with the words facing up,
the teacher spells any word out loud and asks the learner to identify and pick up
the right card. In case the learner wants to check the meaning, they can turn the
card over to look at the picture on the back.
3) Spelling the words: The teacher picks up, randomly, a card and ask the student to
spell out loud the word chosen. The student must pay attention to the color of
the word to get the right pronunciation (*).

Win/Lose: Win if you guess the word before killing the man. The learner has up
to 6 chances to make mistakes.
