    My Thoughts about the LGBTQ community:

    People from the LGBTQ community have been looked down upon from a very long time. Even today,
    the LGBTQ community is fighting for their rights in many parts of the world. In my opinion, people
    from the LGBTQ community are just people and it is not right for anyone to treat them any different
    from how they would treat a straight man or a straight woman. People who come out to be gay, lesbian,
    bisexual, transgender, queer, etc are treated as if there is something wrong with them, the society
    believes that they have a mental condition or are just ‘confused’. These people are looked down upon
    and even bullied on a regular basis just for having a sexuality that is different from what the society has
    perceived as ‘normal’ for centuries. This is the reason why many people stay ‘in the closet’ and choose
    not to disclose their sexuality.
