NV Events FAQ’s :-

1) How can I install the Nv events device with TV screens?


Ans - Once you purchase a device from us, we will provide you with a device kit that
includes an Android device, an HDMI cable, and a power cable. You will need to connect the
device to your TV using the HDMI cable and power it using the power cable. Here is a link to

2) How can I connect my device to an internet connection?


Ans - To access your device, connect the mouse and keyboard first. Follow the instructions
below to connect to the internet:

Click on the three dots located at the top right corner.


1) From the options, select "System Menu".
2) Navigate to "Wireless and Networks" and click on it.
3) Choose the "Wi-Fi" option.
4) Select an available network and enter the password to connect.

3) What is the warranty of the Nv events device?

4) How can I restore the device's internet connection in order to apply layout design
changes?
Ans - To access your device, connect the mouse and keyboard first. Follow the instructions
below to connect to the internet:
Click on the three dots located at the top right corner.
1) From the options, select "System Menu".
2) Navigate to "Wireless and Networks" and click on it.
3) Choose the "Wi-Fi" option.
4) Select an available network and enter the password to connect.

5) Can I play my content on multiple screens using a single device?


Ans - You can play your content on only one screen with a single device. It only supports
one screen per device. If you want to play content on another screen, you will need to
purchase an additional device.

6) How can I design my layout to be displayed on a screen?


Ans -
To create a design, please follow these steps:
1) Click on the "Add Layout" tab.
2) Choose the desired layout from the options.
3) Click on "Next".
4) Provide a name for the layout.
5) Select the desired resolution.
6) Click on "Save".
7) The Layout Screen will now open.
8) Add your Widget (images, videos, or text).
9) Click on "Save" for each content you edit.
10) After saving, click on the menu icon (three lines) located on the right side of the layout.
Finally, click on "Publish layout" to complete the process.

7) How can we set a timer to play two images as a slider on display?


Ans -To set the timer, please follow the below steps:
Login to the dashboard.
Select the layout and click on "Design".
Click on any image available in the design and go to the "General" option.
Check the option "Set A Duration" (e.g. 5 seconds / 10 seconds) as per your requirement.

8) How can I show my design on a screen?.


Ans - Once the layout design is ready, you can display it on your screen in two ways:
a) Set it as the Default Layout:
Click on "Option-Displays" in the main menu
Click on "Default Layout"
Select your layout name and set it as the default
b) Schedule the layout on screens for a specific timeframe:
Login to your dashboard
Click on "Schedule"
Select your display and click on "Add Event"
Specify the start date, end date, layout name, and click on "Run at CMS time"
Click on "Save"

9) Is a continuous internet connection required to play my design on the display?


Ans -The Nv events device does not require a continuous internet connection to play the
design. However, when updating or changing the design, the device will need an active
internet connection. The device can download and run designs automatically in offline mode.

10) What is the difference between horizontal and vertical layouts?


Ans -If the screen orientation is horizontal, adjust the image layout to horizontal and ensure
the image is in landscape form to fit it within the display.
If the screen orientation is vertical, adjust the image layout to vertical and ensure the image
is in portrait form to fit it within the display.

11) 11) Can I operate the dashboard from anywhere and make changes to our display?
Ans - Yes, the dashboard can be operated globally, allowing you to make changes to the
display according to your needs.

12) How can we restore the device's internet connection to apply layout design changes?
Ans - To access your device, connect the mouse and keyboard first. Follow the instructions
below to connect to the internet:
Click on the three dots located at the top right corner.
1) From the options, select "System Menu".
2) Navigate to "Wireless and Networks" and click on it.
3) Choose the "Wi-Fi" option.
4) Select an available network and enter the password to connect.
13) How can we schedule my design layout on the screen or set it as the default layout?

Ans - To display the layout design on your screen, there are two ways:
1) Set it as the Default Layout:
Click on "Option-Displays" at the main menu.
Choose the option "Default Layout".
Select your desired layout name.
Set it as the default layout.

2) To schedule the layout on screens for a particular timeframe, please follow these steps:
Login to your dashboard.
Click on "Schedule" and select your display.
Click on "Add Event".
Choose the start date, end date, and layout name.
Click on "Run at CMS time" and then click on "Save".

14) Can we schedule two layouts to play simultaneously? If yes, which one should play first?

Ans - Yes you can schedule two layout by selectiong its priority.
To set the priority of two layouts, please follow these steps:
Login to your dashboard.
1) Click on "Schedule" and select your desired display.
2) Click on "Add Event".
3) Select the start date, end date, and layout name.
4) On the same page, you can set the priority for the layout.
5) Click on "Run at CMS time".
6) Finally, click on "Save".

15) How can we edit the layout from the backend?


Ans - To edit the layout, please follow the below steps:
1) Go to the layout option in your dashboard.
2) Select your layout and click on the design option in the dropdown menu on the right-hand
side. Here, you can select your region and edit the layout according to your requirements.
3) Once you have made the changes, click on the Save option and then click on the Publish
design option on the right-hand side.

16) How can we remove a scheduled layout from the backend?


Ans - To remove a scheduled layout from the backend, follow these steps:
1) Go to the schedule and select your display name.
2) Your schedules will be displayed as TV icons.
3) Click on the TV icons to delete the layout from your display. Alternatively, you can update
the end time of the display.

17) How can we check the device name?


Ans- To find your device name on your screen, click on the "Status" option located on the
right-hand side on your display. Your device name will be displayed as the "Display Name"
18) Can we play multiple widgets at the same time on a single display?
Ans - Multiple widgets can be played simultaneously by dividing your TV screen according to
your specific requirements.

19) How do I authorize the display?


Ans - To authorize the display, please follow these steps:
1) Login to your dashboard.
2) Go to "Display" in the menu.
3) Click on the dropdown menu.
4) Select "Authorise" from the options.

20) What are the standard image sizes for the display?
Ans -The standard size for horizontal layout is 1920x1080, and for vertical layout, it is
1080x1920.

21) Is there any limitation on the video size to play on the display?
Ans - There is no limitation on the size of video that can be displayed. However,
downloading the video and your internet speed are significant factors. If the video is large in
size, it may take more time to load on your screen.
