红尘中毁誉得失如何去量

Hóng chén zhōng huǐ yù dé shī rú hé qù liáng

In this world, how do we measure praise and condemnation[2]

萧萧血热刀锋凉

Xiāo xiāo xuè rè dāo fēng liáng

As it rains, the sword is drawn in anger[3]

山高水远

Shān gāo shuǐ yuǎn

From a long distance away[4]

又闻琴响

Yòu wén qín xiǎng

The Qin[5] can be heard again

陈情未绝

Chén qíng wèi jué

Chen Qing[6] is still sounding

卧荻花月如霜
Wò dí huā yuè rú shuāng

The silvergrass rests and the moon is like frost[7]

煮一壶生死悲欢祭少年郎

Zhǔ yī hú shēng sǐ bēi huān jì shàonián láng

Boil a pot of friendship[8] to honour the youth
