1 EXT. CHURCH STEPS - NIGHT (6 YEARS AGO) 1
FATHER DEAN ALWYN, mid thirties, troubled, sits on

the stairs in front of his beloved church, broken.
Red and Blue flashing light reflect on his face while
sirens fill the background. As he raises his blood
soaked hands, he stares off into a trance as the
sirens scream aloud.

2 EXT. SIDEWALK - NIGHT (NOW) 2
Father Alwyn is staring into the night, outside of a

residents house. Father Alwyn exits his trance and
lifts his phone to his ear.
FATHER ALWYN
Yes, yes, sorry. As I've said
before, the situation is out of
hand. This entity is unlike any
I've evaluated before. We will
need an expert Exorcist before
the child's soul is lost to us.

3 INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT 3
Father Alwyn Enters the room. Bound to the chair is

BRUCE, teenager, unhinged, struggling to escape the
binds that Father Alwyn has put him in.
FATHER ALWYN
It's alright my son. Help is on
the way. You'll be well soon
enough, I promise.
BRUCE
Is that what you believe
Father? You think I need help?
(Sarcastically) From you? You
who led one of your flock to
death? You who questions the
sanctity of your church? Of all
the foolish men I've

4 EXT. SIDEWALK - NIGHT 4
A driver pulls up and stops in front of the house. A

man gets out of the vehicle and reveals his face from
the shadows.
FATHER ALWYN (O.S.)
Gabriel Mordecai. His methods
are, Unorthodox, but his
results are absolute.
MORDECAI, mid-thirties, rough, begins to grab his

belongings from the trunk of the vehicle and make his
way towards the house.
FATHER ALWYN (O.S.)(CONT'D)

If it were up to me, I would
not have called him. But your
issue is...in need of a
different perspective.
BRUCE (O.S.)
So the church calls in the Hand
of Solomon. I'm aware of the
stories. Even Hell has

FATHER ALWYN (O.S.)

Mordecai makes it to the front of the house and the

Doorbell RINGS. Father Alwyn makes his way to the
door.
BRUCE (O.S.)

Father Alwyn answers the door and Mordecai Enters.
FATHER ALWYN

kitchen.

Mordecai raids the fridge fixing himself food. Father

moves towards the counter to observe his bag.

7 INT. CHURCH OFFICE - DAY (6 MONTHS AGO) 7
Father Alwyn is talking to a Deacon who is having

doubts about remaining in the church.
FATHER ALWYN
I know this has been troubling
you my son.
DEACON
It's just, it's been years
father, he was like a brother
to me, and I can't understand
why he'd take his own life, and
right in front of our church!
It's caused me to have doubts.
Father Alwyn pats his shoulder and looks towards the

window pane gleaming light.
FATHER ALWYN
Do you remember Isiah 43 my

DEACON

FATHER ALWYN
Do not fear, for I have
redeemed you; I have summoned
you by name; you are mine. When
you pass through the waters, I
will be with you; and when you
pass through the rivers, they

Mordecai and Father Alwyn enter the room where Bruce
is waiting in silence, appearing to be asleep.
Mordecai surveys the room and starts observing Bruce.

Has he been asleep long?
FATHER ALWYN
No, he was awake when I left.
Couldn't have been more than
twenty minutes passed.
MORDECAI
Well then, let's wake him up.
Mordecai grabs his frequency device and begins to

tune, a variety of WHITE NOISE screams into the room.
The noise stops but Mordecai still tunes the device.
With a sudden burst Bruce begins to scream.
BRUCE
(Screaming)Turn it
off! Turn that damn)
box off you insufferable
bastard!
Mordecai Turns off the device, slowly turns to Father

Alwyn.
MORDECAI
See father, science and
religion co- opting against an
evil bastard is the true
harmony the world needs.
BRUCE
Gabriel Mordecai. The stories
are rather true aren't they?
You truly are a grim being.
MORDECAI
When the damned tell tales of
me, it makes me seem more
famous than the devil himself.

Bruce begins to throb and struggle in the chair with

no success of escaping.

(Assertively) Demon, I

trip to hell!
Mordecai Splashes the demon with holy water and

reveals his crucifix to Bruce.
MORDECAI
(Assertively Yelling)

BRUCE

MORDECAI
We're just getting started.
Mordecai pulls out an old book hidden in his coat,

and turns the pages. He then holds his hands out, and
recites a passage.
MORDECAI

ZILDAR K' ETHARZI. QUASB

ECURB.
Bruce begins to shake and struggle, he groans in

pain.
FATHER ALWYN
I've never heard latin like

MORDECAI

salt, and places it on Bruces forehead, burning him,
Bruce screeching.
Bruce drops his head, almost defeated

FATHER ALWYN

Father Alwyn is sitting in confession waiting, as a

young woman enters and kneels.
WOMAN
Forgive me father for I have
sinned, it's been one month
since my last confession.
FATHER ALWYN
Tell me your sins my child.
WOMAN

I am not married.
FATHER ALWYN
I see, does the father know?
WOMAN
Father...One month ago, I was

12 INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT (NOW) 12
Father Alwyn exits his trance. He begins to pace back

and forth. A SCREECH is heard from the bedroom, and
Father Alwyn rushes in.
Scene 13 2 3/8 pgs
Father Alwyn rushes in and sees Mordecai prepping a

Syringe filled with the dark vials substance.
BRUCE
What is that you bastard? More
tricks?
MORDECAI
This? This is your last chance
to comply. Give me your name,
and I wont inject you with...
FATHER ALWYN
(Interrupting) What is
that? What do)
you have there?
MORDECAI
Think of it as anti-venom to
demons. Are you familiar with
my work in Santa Fe?
FATHER ALWYN

BRUCE

The room is silent for the moment as Bruce's head

lowers. after a few beats he raises his head.
BRUCE
I'll see you in hell Gabriel
Mordecai.
MORDECAI
Have it your way.
Mordecai approaches Bruce but Father Alwyn blocks his

approach.
FATHER ALWYN
This isn't the only way. We
have to have faith in God
Mordecai.
MORDECAI
God failed you! That's why I'm

Mordecai Shoves Father Alwyn to the ground and

injects Bruce.
MORDECAI
And I DON'T fail!
Bruce smiles at Mordecai, Mordecai backs away in

disbelief. Then Bruce begins to cough, a glowing
light in his chest begins to shine, as his veins
follow suit. Bruce Begins to

screech once more, louder than before. The room

begins to shake, wind breaks through the windows. The
Light in Bruce's chest shines brighter. Father Alwyn
begins to pray under the sound of WIND. Mordecai
pulls his rosary and crucifix out once more.
MORDECAI
TELL. ME. YOUR. NAME!
BRUCE
Laboglas! PRESIDENT LABOGLAS!
MORDECAI
Got you!
Mordecai begins the exorcism ritual, Father Alwyn

recites the same latin incantation. The light within
Bruce shines white hot and a dark fog is released
from his body, ROARING as it burns into the
floorboards. Father Alwyn stands up, Mordecai
approaches Bruce's unconscious body.
MORDECAI
It's Done. The demons expelled.
FATHER ALWYN
Is...Is he?
Both Mordecai and Father Alwyn stand and wait for a
response as they look at each other with gloom.
FADE TO BLACK
