I have just received the photos about condition of your shaft-generator.
You should make the following:
1. To check up a condition diode bridge CR 01, it is a white rectangle with 5 screw
terminals, to be in the right bottom part of the excitation panel under wires tray near
to Choke L 01 which reminds the transformer. Rectifier type SKD 30/12A Semicron
2. To check up a condition of Choke L 01, resistance of its windings will be
approximately following - АВ - 3.4Ома, CD - 0.5Ома, EF - 1.6Ома. Spare choke is
present onboard in stock in the ECR electrical locker,
3. To check up a condition of the compound transformers T 01, Т 02, Т 03 and the current
transformer Т 104. Usual malfunction - transformers lose fixing on bars, slip
downwards and windings fray about bolts of fastening of power cables. Their data -
T01-03 - SY 4T7994 93/09 1200/1.8A 90VA CL 3, T 04 - Merox Sodex 37600,
Loches No CDE 16690-11 Piece 002 SPE 1050/1A 10Va CL 1
4. To check up connection and an order of connection of all three wires going from power
bars to terminals 1, 2, 3, they serve for the control of voltage of the generator and
regulation of the excitation current accordingly.
At the initial moment after start for generator excitation 3 wires approaching to terminals 1,
2, 3, diode bridge CR 01, Choke L 01, adjustable booster resistor R 02 and itself AVR work
only.
For check you can take AVR and the diode bridge from any AE and to check up as to be
excited SG. The regulator can be R130В, 130С or 130А. It is not of great importance, SG.
Thus, at present moment it is necessary to order diode bridge CR 01.
