BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Please briefly In 1976, the schools in Greece were divided into Gymnasiums and Lyceums, hence in the

Thus, in 1979, the 2nd Junior High School of Agia Paraskevi operates with the first six
classrooms. The following year the school becomes co-ed and from then on the record of the
female students is kept at our school while the corresponding one of the boys is kept in the 1st
Junior High School of Agia Paraskevi.
The group of buildings that exists was formed gradually in the following years. Later, the
school's Amphitheater and the guards 'spot were built.
The Municipal Cinema "Cinema School - Thanasis Vengos"(a famous comedian of Greece)
operates in the school within the school grounds during the summer months. In the
Amphitheater, cultural and other events are held, both by the Municipality and by our city's
entities (upon on request), an "Open University" also operates.
