People often make unfair judgments of others based solely on superficial factors like appearance and speech. While first impressions can provide some insight, forming opinions without deeper understanding leads to false and harmful assumptions. This tendency stems from human flaws like pride and jealousy that cause us to judge others based on superficial signs of wealth, status or lifestyle. True character cannot be discerned from surface attributes alone.

Write an opinion essay starting with the line:” I must
admit it winds me up the way that people make
assumptions about you just from the way that you speak.” Nowadays, the world is much more sceptical than in the past years, and because of this, but also for other reasons, some people end up believing invented things or bad opinions just from the way you speak or how they perceive or how they perceive you, without them having a foundation for their judgments. Of course, the first appearance, how you are dressed and how you talk automatically convey certain things about you, allowing other people to get an idea of who you are, and this is perfectly normal; even I do that. But, in my opinion, the real problem is when people do not want to change their opinion about you, especially since today’s society always finds a fault in how you dress, what you eat, how you talk, how many kilos you have, what car do you drive, where you live and how much money you make per month; in any case, people will always say that it is too much or too little. I think this problem is mainly caused by our pride and even jealously. If a person has a lot of things more than us, we are going to judge him and if he has less we tend to be proud of what we have and who we are. An example of what I am saying can be taken from the text itself, in the part where the author tells us how the others made their films about what his father did for him to get to a good university. In conclusion, I can affirm the fact that people “make assumptions about you just from the way you speak” and unfortunately, this does not seem to change, at least in the following years.
