What special products, art forms, or tradition is your hometown most known for? Describe them.

= My hometown is Cavite it’s my birth place, I don’t really know much about my hometown because I
didn’t grow there, but I did some research about the special products, art forms, and traditions that my
hometown is known for. First of all, Cavite is well known for the site if the battle of Alapan, a major
encounter during the Philippine Revolution, and a giant flagpole is erected in the historical battlefields
site. Cavite is a province known for its history, heroes and heritage. The famous delicacy in Cavite is the
Pancit puso or pancit de carajay just like any other province in the country, pancit dishes are also
popular in cavite, thanks to the Chinese merchants who migrated and brought their cuisine with us.
Cavite is also known for its fishing culture it is especially abundant in squid, shrimp, mussels, and
oysters. The Paella Negra is an ode to Cavite's rice and fish-producing period. Because shrimp is highly
abundant in the area, it used in this tasty Pork Binagoongan. Two Caviteño traditional crafts: Agimat's
amulets and charms; and the Hebron Brothers Cutlery's bolo knives for farming, gardening, and logging
attracted a lot of interest.
