The teacher will pause the video and will ask different
questions from the learners.
How does water help a seed to grow?
What happens if there is no sunlight?
Why do you think roots grow first?
The teacher will show a wilted plant and a fresh plant to
the learners and will ask them why one plant is fresh
while the other is wilted?
She will tell them that if the proper condition that is, air,
water, sunlight and soil are not provided to the seed or 10 mins
plant then it will never grow.
Practice:
The teacher will keep a mixed plate having seeds,
seedlings, young plants and adult plants. She will first
show the four stages of life cycle of plant and tell them
the names and then the learners will be asked to come in 10 mins .
pairs in front, sort and discuss the four stages of the life
cycle of plants with their stage names.
Group !:
Learners will be given cutouts of stages of life cycle of
plants and they will paste them on a chart paper to make
an anchor chart.

Group 2:
Leaners will sow their own seeds in a glass of soil and
will keep them in sunlight and they will be watered
daily to observe the process of germination.

Learners will be asked:
What are the condition necessary for a plant to grow?
