Introduction:

As is usual in poetry departments, printed texts serve as the basic source. However,
"fast learning methods" are constantly being developed for students to speed up learning.
Though student-centered methods. The science of translation and the development that
took place in it led to a great establishment in the cultures of the world, not in the cinema of
commercial exchange and other sciences and all histories. The development of translation
among secondary school students is instructed to highlight the extent of their
comprehension and what are the methods of memorizing words. Therefore, in this research,
we shed light on many things, including the translation strategies and methods used by
teachers in communicating the important idea of the lesson, especially as we take into
account the mental range of each student and what It is the scope of his thinking.
Modern science and cinema productions have had a very significant role in the
development of learners of foreign languages, especially English, as it is considered the
international language used by many of the world's population. And that literature studies
have become transmitted through several ways, the most important of which are short
stories, as they express the writer’s narratives and his feelings in the period in which he
lived, but these short stories were translated into transmitted videos, and they must be
integrated within the scope of the developmental awareness in translation.
The presentations and what is published on the websites of the services of the World Wide
Web, which includes an indispensable database in translation methods and when students
are interested in translating these texts, especially recent ones, indicate a wide range of
education and development in translation. Providing new integrated methods and good
presentations that increase the ability to learn and read. We must take into account the
extent of the interest of teachers and highlight the importance of developing audiovisual
translation, especially written and presented, to be smooth and understand the students'
extent of their efforts and understanding of the inspiration and development of translation.

1.1 Study surroundings

1.1.1 Problematic study

The problem of the study is about the mechanism of translation development when
translating selected texts from literary films (short stories), and its impact on the
development of translation among a group of translation users, measuring correct
performance, knowing performance evaluation, and advancing a database of literary
vocabulary.
1.1.2 Study Significance

1. The translation processes and the impact of the actual development, especially the
audiovisual, have an important role that will be defined extensively
2. Literary texts are of good importance to translation practitioners because they
contain beautiful meanings and images that convey the culture of the poet or writer
from one language to another in a style similar to that of the original text.
3. Identify the extent of thinking and the use of translation tools to assist in the
translation process, such as (cat tools) and other tools
4. Deduce methods for expressing figurative expression and identify ways of rapid
translation within the classroom
1.1.3 Study Aims

1. familiarity of teaching and translation patterns for high school students of English.
2. To know whether the use of literary videos in defining, improving and developing
translation skills is faster than usual for traditional learning methods.
3. Create a database of literary vocabulary most used in translation.
4. Enabling the literary language and defining it smoothly for translation learners in
English language lessons within lectures in secondary education classes
1.1.4 Study Hypothesis

1. We assume that the translation process of literary texts faces difficulties, so what
are these difficulties and what are these difficulties?
2. The continuous education and the development in teaching foreign languages,
especially English, led to the conclusion of several methods of translation.

3. We suppose that the literary language is very complex and full of linguistic
equivalents and distinctive structures that give a flavor of weight, pattern and tone.

1_ How do presentations of literary works affect the development of translation skills?
How does the teacher highlight the strengths and weaknesses of high school translators?

4_ What are the strategies used by the students in translating literary texts and to what
extent was the level of understanding among the students?
1.1.6 Methodology of study

The mixed method research design was used with the triangulation of the qualitative
and quantitative data. The participants are the 60 high school students of
researcher/teacher. 35 of them are 6th grade students of female and 25 of them are 6th
grade students of mail. The opinions of the participants have been investigated with
Likert scale (1-5) questionnaire and their comments about the question items

Problematic of study:
Despite starting in first grade, students in Palestine have trouble acquiring
English. Given that learners are unique people with a variety of personalities, learning
styles, and preferences, learning may be considered to be an incredibly complex process.
Students often leave high school with only a basic understanding of the language, despite
the teachers' best efforts to help them. Parents and educators frequently lament the low
competency of the pupils. There are a number of causes for this, including:
1.The learning types, to start.
2. Student-use of strategies.
3. The curriculum's effects.

4. Techniques for teaching English

Aim of study:

In order to promote English language proficiency in fifth grade, this study will
look into the usage of text and picture animation. It is hoped that this method of teaching
will lead to major improvements in English teaching and learning.
It might also act as a form of reinforcement for the communicative strategy.
Animation enables realistic motional sceneries and gives pupils interactive tools to design
a world that they have influence over. For instance, the movements of the mouth, eyes,
and hands in pictures allow for better comprehension, more interaction, and better
memory retention. Additionally, special performance of educational materials is
enhanced.
Question of study:
1. What are the effects of using picture and text animation on the students'
achievement and performance?
2. What are its effects on students' performance due to gender and students' level?
3. Are there significant differences between the general ability of the students in
every group (control vs. experimental) and their achievement in the four skills?
4. Are there significant differences between the performance of the same level
students in the two groups?
5. Is there correlation in the two groups' performance among the four skills?

Problematic of study:
English would not become a native language for learners since they are foreign
language students in a nation where it is not the primary language. Therefore, there would
be a large number of learning shortages. Unfortunately, one of the key learning
challenges that Souad AL Natsheh basic school children encounter is the semantic
meaning of the simple and the progressive component. Students thoroughly understand
the forms and norms of their works, but they are unable to convey the correct meaning in

them.Such a shortage suggests the thesis of this study.

The Significance of study:


The findings of this study are anticipated to make a significant contribution to the
field of ELT since they will reveal students' mistakes in this area by revealing their
proficiency with semantic variations on the aspectual side. As a result, they contribute to
easing the linguistic barriers faced by English majors in this profession. The results of
this study lead to useful suggestions that could aid EFL students in lessening their
difficulties and, consequently, improving their usage of the English language.
Aim of study:
Examining students' understanding of the semantic differences in the aspectual
side of English verbs is the goal of this study. As a result, it aims to identify students'
issues in this area and attempt to improve their understanding of English aspects by
reading short stories. As a result, it aims to find out how reading short stories affects
students' understanding of the semantic variations in the aspectual side of English verbs.
Question of study:
1. What are the errors that eighth graders commit in the semantic variations in the
aspectual side of English verbs?
2. What is the frequency of each committed error?
3. How far students’ awareness of the semantic variations of aspects will be
developed after reading six short stories?

1.4.1 Comment on previous studies:

All the contents of the previous studies were read and the following was concluded;

1. Understanding the patterns and types of questionnaires, how samples are analyzed,
question tables included, and knowledge of the extent of sampling expansion.
2. Translation studies, how their strategies are measured, the methods used by the
teaching staff, and the extent to which educational values have improved in the
modern period of the world, using various methods of teaching, follow-up, and daily
exercises.
3. Rebuking the differences between the races in the level of comprehension of the

literary texts and the knowledge of measurements of comprehension and knowledge
and modern learning methods such as education within the audiovisual curriculum.
4. Full knowledge of the types of research and how methods of dissemination of
knowledge are conducted, focus on effects, roles, types of assessments, and how to
analyze results within a specific scope with fixed findings within the methodology,
position, type, and quantity.
5. Inferring the roles of the teaching class and their duties towards improving the level of
translation in secondary schools, whether it is private or general, or through lessons
from within the school class or outside working hours (private lessons)

2.1 The translation

Translation, as termed, is that substitution that is intended to transform words


according to its conformity with the meaning. That is, it is a process by which speech is
transferred from its original language into a language Others, in order to communicate
certain ideas according to the requirements of translating a specific written message or
spoken. This definition reveals the great interest in the act of translation on the part of
Arab and Western thinkers. In an effort to advance the communicative task based on
achieving translational similarity in light of The difference in linguistic and cultural
origin

2.1.1 Translation among Arab thinkers

There were various associations with ancient Arab philosophers in the word translation.
As for Al-Jahiz, translation is defined by three concepts, which are "Transportation,
Translation, and Transformation," saying in this connection: The books of India were
transmitted, the rule of Greece was translated, and the literature of the Persians was
transformed. Ibn Manzoor uses the term translation to refer to the meaning of ambiguity
and the definition of the content of the book.
2.1.2 Translation Among for Western thinkers:
The premise of translation is widely used in the West and is intimately related to Latin,
which has a Greek background. However, because the term "subscriber" was not widely
used, this opinion was also not without controversy. This is what led some researchers to
make reservations about the etymological aspect of the word translation .Let us
remember that the seventeenth century is the century in which the authors of the book
circulated The Greek and Latin classics. As for the reference to the word "translation",
we cannot be sure of it. Because we don't know exactly if it is of Latin origin (traduceré)
(passing one thing through another). Or it was Italy by virtue of the spread of translation
in Italy
2.2 Translation: its dialectic and multi-cultural horizons

The human tongue has distinguished and differed since ancient times, and it is said
that the construction of the Tower of Babel was a reason for isolation Societies, different

is focused on translating linguistic vocabulary only. Translation, as far as it is a linguistic
process, is,That is, in essence, a process of transmission between cultures, translation
It requires looking at the text as an integrated unit in its cultural context and taking into
account the purpose required of it in this regard basis. For this reason, it was said that
translation represents a dialogue between different cultures, which was presented by the
theory.
The language. In a tripartite framework that also includes gender and language, it was
taken into consideration by anthropologists as the most significant factor. the components
which give human cultures their identity. It is common knowledge that an individual's
culture does not develop unless they live with others in their environment who share their
values and interests. Life was necessary for language acquisition since it is the most
crucial component in its growth, transmission, and development. Every benefit that
enables an individual to express himself and communicate is obtained through the social
system. The ability to adapt serves as a unifying force and helps people understand and
communicate with one another. And a repository for safeguarding cultural treasures,
which gave it another use.
Adaptation, which not only achieves understanding and communication, but also
constitutes a factor of unity and a container for preserving human heritage, which made it
one of the first investigations that everyone cared about. Anthropologists have almost
different starting points and entrances. In the introduction to this presentation, it is worth
referring to the concept of language that includes signs, symbols and words Placed on a

2.3 The role of teaching in improving the level of translation

The translation difficulties to determine the real beginning of translation, as it


existed since the languages diversified and human beings came into contact with each
other, and the invention of writing was a reason for the emergence of translation.

played by the translation carved on the Rosetta Stone is no secret in enabling

2.4 Translation Theories

The expansion of economic globalization has increased the interdependence of nations in


all spheres.This transformation indicates that innumerable cross-cultural interactions
occur continuously every day and every hour. Cross-cultural dialogue becomes crucial, as
is only natural. Understanding a country's culture and correctly translating it are essential
for effective cross-cultural communication. The important sentence for our final years on
earth may be quite simply: TRANSLATE OR DIE, as Paul Engle writes, "As our world

shrinks together like an old orange and all peoples in all civilizations pull closer together
(however grudgingly and warily), it may be that." Therefore, we must place a high value
on the use of translation theories in cross-cultural communication. Effective cross-
cultural communication is a result of good translation.
Pound's philosophy of translation, in contrast to Richards', places more emphasis on the
accurate representation of small details, individual words, and signal or even fragmentary
images than it does on assuming the one, unifying meaning of the entire work. Based on
the idea that language and the words on a page have energy, Pound's approach views the
finer elements as sculpted images. Therefore, translators are viewed as artists, engravers,
or calligraphers who are attempting to create artistic work. According to Pounds,
phanopoeia (visual property), melopoeia (musical property), and logopoeia are all forms
of energizing language (the direct meaning and the play of a word in its context). The
most difficult of these to translate is logopoeia. for Pound's quote, "It is the dance,"

2.5 The role of literature art on developing the translation

Literary translation involves translating the dramatic and creative poetry and prose of
ancient and modern authors from different cultures, and this ensures that more people
around the world are able to enjoy literary creations in their own language. The
importance of literary translation is incalculable. It enables people to understand the
world. Students can understand philosophy, politics, and history through the translated
works of Sophocles and Homer. Many readers can enjoy new insights into different ways
of life through contemporary translations. More people are able On enjoying the creative,
fertile and highly imaginative minds of foreign authors.
Without the translation of literature, people would not be able to read the vast majority of
literary works available in archives and libraries around the world, and you would not be
able to enjoy the ways ancient authors looked at the many aspects of life and how they

expressed their myriad emotions, and you would not be able to understand How did
people think at that time compared to people living in modern times, subtitles allow you
to travel back in time and relive these moments, you are also given the opportunity to
compare how things worked in the past and see some similarities as well as changes that
occur in the modern world
