Dear Parents/Guardians,

Our Symphonic Band will be competing at the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation at
the Harlingen Performing Arts Conservatory on April 3, 2023. This is the Band version of the
STAAR and attendance in this UIL Evaluation is mandatory. Students are required to dress in
professional Concert Black Attire. Please help us by making sure your child is dressed
appropriately for this contest and is present for school this day. This contest is open to the public,
and parents are encouraged to attend. We ask that any attendees follow concert etiquette as this
contest will be professionally recorded.

8:45 am Report to Band Hall (Instrument inspection / run-through)

9:45 am Load Truck / Bus
10:00 am Depart to Harlingen Performing Arts Conservatory

10:45 am Arrive at Harlingen PAC / Unload & Check in
11:15 am Synchronized Breathing in hallway
11:25 am Warm Up
11:55 am Performance
12:20 pm Sight Reading
12:40 pm Load Truck / Bus
1:00 pm Depart for Cicis in Weslaco
3:00 pm Arrive at Central MS and students are dismissed
