Procdures:
Stage Time Activity

Warm up 5 mn Greet ss. Review verb ‘Be’ affirmative form,as a lead in activity to
introduce other English verbs: play, speak,listen, visit…

1 Comprehension 5 mn a- Matching:
Check Ss look at the pictures and match the vocablulary: policeman,
thief, neighbor,help
b- True / False Activity:
Ss read the text and answer True/False questions.

2 - Noticing 5 mn Read and Highlight:


Ss read the text and highlight the verbs.

3 -Consciousness 10 mn Read and complete :


raising Ss are helped to discover the target grammar structure by analyzing the
collected data. Here, ss read the text again and complete the table.

4 – Checking 10 mn a- Which one’s correct


Ss circle the correct form of the verb to check if they have
understood how the target works.
b- Dialogue :
Ss complete the dialogue with the correct forms of the verb.

5 – Production 10 mn Write:
ss look at pictures of people having different activities and talk about
their usual weekend.
6 – Contrast 5 mn Put it correctly:
Srtategy Ss write the verbs in the correct form.
7- Free 10 mn Express with Espresso
production write a short paragraph about what you and your family do
on your free time.

7 - Evaluation Formative or summative assessment . These assessments should be


included while and after delivering the lesson by checking ss
comprehension, a quiz or a test to see to what extent ss have
assimilated the newly acquired structure.
