Main Agendas

1 Improving current facilities

Proper allocation of practice
space for cultural events,
improving the infrastructure.

2 Growth and Advancements

Bringing in required
equipments, creating new
clubs like eSports club.

3 Development
Bringing in artists to conduct
training sessions. Creating
teams to compete in other
college

Formation of a core team for each club
which will include co-ordinators and most
active members of the club.
Right now mainly Btech students participate
in most of the events. I will try to cater all
the students of our institute including Mtech
and PhD students and increase their
participation by conducting events
appealing to them.
Reconsideration of funds allotted to cultural
clubs. There is a need to increase the funds
allocated to them as now there are more
students than before. Also making essential
equipment available to respective clubs.
Resume the custom of Fresher's and
Farewell parties of both Btech as well as
Mtech students.
Conduction of special open-to-all events,
from all clubs, with help of sponsors and thus
provide exposure to students as well the
institute.
Establishing new clubs as per the interest of
students like E-sports, Fashion or lifestyle
etc. Thus developing communities and a
healthy culture.
Making YUVAAN a north-east sensation.
Adding new events and making the
conduction structured and well planned.
Creating opportunities for students to lead
many different teams like PR, marketing etc.
and be a part of it.
Celebrating days like Teacher's day,
Women's day etc.
Organizing recreational activities like DJ
night, Band performances etc.
And many more things ......

I have been the coordinator of
Prashnatantra for two semesters
and am part of Music band right
now. I have closely seen and
experienced how the cultural
clubs function. I am aware of the
difficulties and problems they
face and also know the
opportunities we can grab.
