Salad mix is a very popular item on the shelves at supermarkets or even at restaurants because they

are considered healthy. Are they really healthy? In my opinion, they are not since they look fresh

after 5 days you purchased them and according to LifeHack online site they can increase your weigh.

Many shops and restaurants provide their costumers salad mix as they are trendy and better than a

fatty burger with super-sized fries, however they are not always that healthy as people think.

To begin with, sometimes you buy a pocket of mixed salad and you can eat it all week long as they

remain fresh through the week. Is not is strange that they are still fresh and crunchy after you

opened it? They are loaded with chemicals, mainly preservatives to stay in a good shape. I think a

vegetable without any addicted substance should rot, especially if we talk about lettuce and salad. All

in all, mix salads should contain some addictive to stay fresh for long.

Secondly, I have recently read an article about salads sell by restaurants are full of saturated fats and

sodium. These kinds of chemicals make your body puff up. This can result the sudden increase in

weigh. They do more harm to your body than a simple 2- course - lunch. In my opinion, if you eat

salad packaged or ordered at restaurants you were healthier before you chose to eat it. In a few

words, salads that are not from the grocery shops are contain chemicals that can blow you up.

In conclusion, after hearing these alarming facts, I think I had better to eat some homemade meal

and use ingredients freshly from the market. As if you eat a packaged salad mix you not only remain

hungry but also you give your body artificial addictive and chemicals which are absolutely unhealthy.
