Your school has been donated a large sum of money.

What do
you prefer it to be spent on- a gym or a computer lab?

It is an indisputable fact that our professional achievements, financial freedom, and
harmonious life are in direct relation with the quality of the education we get. In our daily
lives, we face myriad examples of the crucial role that computers play at school That is
why I truly support the idea that the donated financial resources should be invested in a
computer lab..

In the first place, modern technologies are an irreplaceable force in the educational
process. For instance, teachers have the opportunity to create video lessons,
animations, and apps, therefore, they induce better interest among the students.
Furthermore, the communication process becomes more straightforward and effective
as a result of the opportunity for online interaction.

Second, the presence of the Internet provides us with spanless opportunities for
collecting and processing information, which leads to outstanding results in our
intellectual development. In general, access to the Internet changes our point of view
and it even affects our emotional state. Implementing various methods and strategies
that are found on the Internet in our daily lives can dramatically improve our
organisation, efficiency, as well as our level of motivation.

Third, a computer lab would be essential for the students whose aspirations are to
work as software engineers, graphic designers, or web developers. The preparation for
these jobs should start at an early stage and it requires high-tech devices. However, the
majority of the students can’t afford to buy them. Not only are the prices of these
gadgets exorbitant, but also some students might face significant difficulties with their
usage.

In conclusion, computers are a fundamental part of the development of our

educational system, therefore, a computer lab would play a key role in improving the
quality of the classes, as well as providing better interaction and improving the overall
performance of the students.
