ELECTRIC VEHICLES CHARGING STATIONS

Abstract: -
The depleting fossil fuel and growing environmental concern have opened the doors for clean
and green energy development using renewable energy sources. The primary reason why
people don't prefer electric vehicles is because of the unavailability of charging stations.
Charging stations, unlike petrol bunks, aren't available everywhere. The project mainly deals
with a simple solution to make charging stations more accessible. The solution involves using
public electricity and solar panels for the easy and hassle-free charging of Electric Vehicles.
This paper provides information about planning and technological developments that can be
used to improve the design and implementation of charging station infrastructure. It also
describes the challenges of adoption. On the other hand, future trends in the field, such as
energy procurement from renewable sources and cars’ benefits to grid technology, are also
presented and discussed. This is investigates the possibility of charging battery electric vehicles
at workplace in India using solar energy.
