Division, Ma'am Felicidad T. Espinosa, Public Schools District Supervisor, Julita District, Ma'am Rhodora A. Arceño, our School Principal II, Ma'am Melda M. Marcos, Julita National High School Faculty and Staff, guests, parents, students, a pleasant afternoon to each and every one. It is with great privilege to introduce to you our guest speaker for this momentous event. Our honored guest completed his elementary education at Julita Central Elementary School. He finished his high school education here at Julita National High School and was once a Supreme Student Government Officer. He took his tertiary years in Visayas State University – Tolosa Campus. It was in his college years then when he started to bolster his self-esteem and established his name through an active involvement in his school. He became the feature editor of The Dolphin Publication, the official student publication of VSU - Tolosa. Not only that, apart from being a journalistic writer, he also became a leader worthy of emulation as he served as a Board Member for 3 consecutive years in VSU Supreme Student Council. Truly, juggling his time both in academics and curricular activities seems like an easy thing. Despite that he was confronted with so many demands from his studies and the organizations he was involved with, still the odds were in his favor as he finished his college years with flying colors. He graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Music, Arts and Physical Education. He received Best in Practice Teacher Award – only a proof that he has the knack in teaching. In the early years of his profession, he became documenter at Plan International Philippines. He also became a Part-Time Instructor at ACLC College Tacloban and Eastern Visayas State University-Burauen Campus. Moreover, he served as a substitute Professional Education & P.E. Instructor at VSU-Tolosa last July 2015-May 2018. This made his teaching experience more substantial and firm. His leadership affiliations even continued even when he started his teaching career. He is the Vice President of VSU-Tolosa Campus Alumni Association for College of Education. He is also a member of Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators and a lifetime member of National Association of Physical Educators and International Association of Physical Education and Sports Incorporated. Our guest is an epitome of insatiability. He never gets tired until he reaches his full potential. In fact, he just recently finished and graduated his master’s degree in Physical Education at Leyte Normal University, with thesis titled "Out-of-field Public Senior High School Teachers' Competencies and Challenges in teaching Physical Education". With this achievement, it made him engaged into several invitations as a chairman and panel member of few yet remarkable final oral defense of undergraduate students in Leyte Normal University. He is also currently working on a research and innovation proposal with several colleagues in and out of his working place. He will also be attending an international forum entitled Global Goals at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on October 2022. Currently, he works as Teacher II at Burauen Comprehensive National High School- SHS, teaching Practical Research and P.E. and Health since 2018. He is also the president of the Grade 12 faculty of the same school. Truly, our guest speaker, is a man full of wisdom, dedication and perseverance towards his pursuit to excellence. Ladies and gentlemen, with my utmost pride to introduce to you our guest speaker, my former student, and now a licensed professional teacher, Master in Physical Education, let’s welcome, Mr. John Clark Martos Mesias.
