Reading - It's ok to be different by Todd Parr

Content: reading the book “It’s ok to be different” by Todd Parr in order to
practise reading and building a vocabulary of known and unknown words; using
Cambridge dictionary to search for the unknown ones; making sentences with
both the known and unknown words to practise the vocabulary of the book.
Specific objectives: reading a book to consolidate the usage of “it is” and learn
and practise some new random vocabulary using a dictionary. Maybe this is the
first book they read in English.

Exercise no. 1
Separate 10 words from the text into two groups:

KNOWN words UNKNOWN words

Exercise no. 2
Access Cambridge Dictionary to search for the unknown words.

Create POSITIVE, NEGATIVE and INTERROGATIVE sentences using the
KNOWN words.
Example: We work in different places.

Exercise no. 4
Create POSITIVE, NEGATIVE and INTERROGATIVE sentences using the
UNKNOWN words.
Example: I never use mittens.
