Introduction of The Event :

The process of detecting a problem, coming up with potential solutions, and choosing the
best line of action is known as problem solving. There are a select few issues that
practically every business must resolve on a regular basis. There are multiple problems
that Decathlon has to resolve and to bring awareness of sports within the youth and
motivate them and increase the profitability of the company an event is been organized by
me.

Organizing a sporting event requires a lot of preparation, logistical planning, and a key
understanding of the sport itself. From sourcing a venue and enlisting a suitable number
of volunteers to arrange all-weather preparations and day-of logistics, a lot goes into
putting together a successful event.

I Organized this Sporting event for athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess,
usually competitive in nature and governed by a set of rules provided by a nationally
recognized sanctioning body which is very useful for the youth to show there sportsmen
skill and there active participation and motivating them to stay fit and healthy.
Goals and Objectives:

➔ To promote sports through activities


➔ To determine the level to which customers are aware of Decathlon's brands.
➔ To raise consumer awareness of the brand and the products offered by Decathlon
through events .
➔ To study consumer perceptions of the Decathlon brand.
➔ To study consumer perceptions of Decathlon items.
➔ To determine the number of consumers who are aware of Decathlon.

Venue:

The sports event organize by Decathlon is set to take place at Shastri Maidan, Rajkot.

The sports Event which is been organize by Decathlon this time will take place
between May 11 to May 15. There are 3 matches between 6 teams for this events. In
the event general public will also be allowed. Entry hours are from 10 am onwards
and entry will be closed 30 minutes before the flags getoff for the event to start.
There are two entry and two exit gates to get in and out of the venue. In years gone
by, the event was held at Rescourse Maidan in Rajkot before being moved to Shastri
Maidan which too is well-connected with the rest of the via road and highways. For
those opting to make use of private vehicles, there is a designated parking zone which
can accommodate up to 600 vehicles. There will also be a designated taxi and
autorickshaw stand close to the venue.
Date and Time:

• The Sports Event will be organised from May 11-15.


• The Shastri Medan will be exclusively open for Media on May 11 to 15
for Capturing the glims of events.
• Various other sports will also be organized for the kids to encourage and
motivate them towards sports and will also be opened on May 11 to 15
11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
• For the general public, the Medan will open from May 11-15 from 11:00 am
to 8:00 pm.
• Entry to the venue will be stopped an hour before closing time each day.

Tickets and Registrations:

Here is the step by step process on registering a tournament on CricHeroes.

• Select “Add A Tournament” option from the side menu.


• Fill all the tournament-related general details such as — Name & logo of the
tournament, ground, category, ball type, etc on the first screen.
• Add teams and tournament officials and you are done!
• Event is been scheduled with different , League Matches, various rounds etc.
• Rules of the event will be declared on the ground by the couch before starting of
the event.
• Registration Fees for Teams will be 5500
• Prizes of the Tournaments will be 500 per head.
• Children under the age of five and individuals in wheelchairs with an
attendant do not need a ticket to attend.
Budget:

The detailed budget for a sports event can vary depending on the size and scope of
the event, as well as the specific needs and goals of the organizer. However, here is a
general breakdown of the expenses that may be involved in an expo event:

Social media marketing, it can be done by circulating the different posters in social
media platforms Like, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube etc... It can be
also done by making ads with the influencers or brand ambassador of the company,
and circulating it on social media platforms Like, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
YouTube etc.

2. Posters and pamplets :

Promotion of the event will be done by distributing pamplets and also by hanging
posters in different area and cities of Rajkot to bring the awareness of event within
the mind of the youth.
