Dear Teacher DC Mae,

On my first day in Grade 1, I was afraid because it was different from my

previous year. I felt that it was more serious and I thought I was in a big
trouble. However, you were always patient and supportive to us. Even though
we gave you a hard time and we’re all noisy and moody, you still kept
encouraging us to work harder and made the class fun and interesting.

As we celebrate the “World Teacher’s Day”, I want to thank you for everything
you have done for me and my classmates. Thank you for teaching us not only
the lessons from our textbooks but for teaching us the important lessons in
life. You teach us what’s right or wrong for us. You always make sure that we
will have the good ethics and values so that we can be good citizens. I
appreciate all your hard work and dedication you have put in, for educating
us. Thank you for making me do my best and for never giving up.

I wish you all the best on Teachers’ Day and throughout your journey. I hope
you have a great day!

Sincerely,
Athena Maine Duhaylungsod
