Using the internet possibilitates a big impact on the learning
process
As we use our computers and technological devices to have fun and communicate, they may
also be very useful to learn about... any subject that can be thought about. With a quick
google, new worlds of knowledge are discovered, which revolutionized the way everyone
leans, constituting a big advantage to society in general.
It may alienate and influence negatively
However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. On one of its negative sides, the internet may
imprison a person. Such gaol might be concretized when someone's whole life, routine,
dreams and natural being are devoted to the screen. For example, when a TV show or a page
in the web promotes something and the person will listen to whatever it is. It's nice to
remember that the web is a tool to grow ourselves into the real life picture, and not shorten us
to the level of a slaved creature of the virtual universe.
It opens many doors when it comes to socialization
From letting your mom know that you've arrived home to becoming friends with people who
live thousands of kilometers away. The flow of the internet may take one to many places and
many social circles where they feel welcomed, which increases happiness and even helps to
physically socialize.

Your personal data may be hacked
The internet is meant to be, in its integrity, a safe place, but we all know that this doesn't apply
to every corner of it. While sharing good memories virtually with friends and family creates a
warm space, there's always certain alleys where private information gets itself in a risk of
leaking, something no one whishes.
It facilitates communication
Wishing a happy birthday to a distant familiar or setting up simple plans of going out with
friends was never easier. Today, some texting will do just fine, but some years ago,
communication had a lot of barriers, most of them broken by the incredible phenom of
internet.
It may addict some
An expansive, but dangerous, world. We can enjoy so much of the internet, feel so comfortable
in its usage, that stop scrolling might be very hard for some. It is always essencial to
remember that the web exists to add to our lives, and not the opposite.

It's great to inform and update yourself about what's going on in
the world
Not having to adapt your routine to a news' television channel schedule is something caused
by the popularization of the use of internet. In a globalized world, it's great to have all the
information possible in the palm of your hands.
While acquiring knowledge and updating yourself about the news is very important, it is as
fundamental to be careful while you do it. Many websites are not trustworthy and might lead
to misinformation and ignorance, two of the greatest problems in the contemporary society.
Normally, the only mistake that someone does in regards to misinformation is that when they
search for news or knowledge in untrustworthy pages and sources.
