I am writing to express my interest in applying for a work immersion program in your esteemed
civil engineering firm. As a student who is passionate about civil engineering, I am eager to gain
practical experience and develop my skills in the field.

I am Alyssa Therese O. Paras, A Senior High School Student at Southern Leyte State University
with a strand of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). As a part of our
curriculum, we are required to undergo a work immersion program to gain hands- on
experience in our chosen field. Civil engineering has always been my interest, and I am
confident that your municipality can provide me with the necessary training and exposure to
the real- world practices of the industry.

I am fascinated by the complexity of civil engineering projects and how they are designed,
constructed, and maintained to ensure the safety and functionality of various infrastructures. In
addition to my passion for civil engineering. I also been involved in various extracurricular
activities that have honed my skills and leadership abilities. I participated in various
competitions and activities that challenged my problem- solving skills.
