Pre Psychomotor Assessment:

1. National Standards/Grade Level Outcomes: Standard 1: The physically literate individual


demonstrates competency in a variety of motor skills and movement patterns.
- Demonstrates the mature form of forehand and backhand strokes with a long handled
implement in net games such as badminton or tennis. (S1.M14.7)
2. Lesson Objectives: Psychomotor: SWBAT demonstrate the backhand, forehand and underhand
grips during rally play with a partner.
3. Overview/Description:
a. What: Students will be assessed on if they can demonstrate the 3 grips in
badminton.
b. When: During lesson 1 while they rally with a partner in lesson 1.
c. A table will be filled out and a check will be made if the student performs the
grips correctly.

1. National Standards/Grade Level Outcomes: Standard 2: Applies knowledge of concepts,
principles, strategies, and tactics related to movement and performance.
- Selects offensive shot based on opponents location (hit where opponent is not).
(S2.M8.7)
2. Lesson Objectives: Cognitive- SWBAT explain 1 offensive strategy that they used during
gameplay.
3. Overview/Description:
a. What: Students will be assessed if they can describe one offensive strategy they
used during gameplay.
b. When: The assessment will take place after the 2v2 game play in lesson 2.
c. An exit slip will be given to each student when they are waiting in their squads
before being dismissed for class.
