Introduction

Student Voices is a partnership between Butler students and

middle and high school students in the Indianapolis area to
work on journalism and creative media projects. After the
coaching and collaboration of the students with mentors, the
projects that are created will be showcased on the Student
Voices website. Potentially, on the national platform
provided by the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Lab
program.

Mission Statement
We strive to provide the youth of the Indianapolis Public
School District a place to raise their voices to make a positive
impact on their communities through mentoring students to
develop critical 21st century skills.

The preferred usage of the Student Voices logo is a black,

yellow and blue design on a white background. The color
Butler Blue and transparent background is also preferred.
