1. Dates of Online Enrolment and Payment Submission Deadlines

Please be reminded to enrol online and submit the cheque payment by the following
deadlines or earlier.

31 October 2022
(by mail or in person)

Please also pay attention to the followings:

1.1 Enrolment procedures include (i) create batches, (ii) collect or input students’ details ,
(iii) confirm enrolment details, (iv) submit a batch / batches to the Association, an d
(v) send payment to the Association. The Admin Users would need to check, approve
and submit the entries to the Association by the deadline (i.e. 27 October 2022 5:00 p.m.).
Before the submission, please check carefully if all the entries that you have
collected are from your own students.
1.2 From 26 October (5:00 pm) to 27 October 2022 (5:00 pm), members / competitors will not
be able to collect or fill in the entry form through the Unique Hyperlink of the Batch.
Members can only submit new entries or update existing enrolments by importing to the
System a designated Excel Form with completed data.
1.3 Please arrange enrolment and payment at your earliest convenience. Due to the
complexity of grouping the competitions, any cheque submitted to the Association after
the deadline will not be accepted. Any entry forms or documents already submitted to
the Association will be destroyed without further notice.
1.4 After submitting the batch(es), members should download the Payment Advice (PA) from
the System immediately. Please check the content and the payment amount and complete
the payment accordingly. Each PA should be submitted with ONE cheque / cashier’s
order only. Members can submit the cheque by post or in person. If members have not
completed the enrolment procedures (including batch submission and payment)
before the deadlines, all students of the concerned batch cannot enter the
competitions.
1.5 For technical problems or enquiries, members are welcome to call the designated OES
hotlines 6217 3703 and 6851 3981 or send messages or photos through WhatsAp p
6851 3981. These two hotlines operate until 27 October 2022. The Association staff
will reply within Office hours.

2. Own Choice Pieces

2.1 Certain classes require competitors to perform Own Choice pieces. Members /
Competitors must submit an “Own Choice Form” (OC Form), Own Choice score and
“Copyright Declaration” (if applicable) to the Association via the “Set Piece and Own
Choice Piece Documents Submission” in “Preparation for Festival” on the Music
Festival page of the Association website.
2.2 The “Own Choice Form” (OC Form) and “Copyright Declaration” can be downloaded
from “Others / Forms” on the Music Festival page of the Association website.
2.3 The submission deadline is 1 December 2022 (5:00 p.m.).
2.4 Members / Competitors who failed to submit the required documents / materials by the
above deadline have to re-submit during the Alteration Period from 11 January 2023
(10:00 a.m.) to 17 January 2023 (5:00 p.m.) with handling fee(s). Competitors
failing to do so will be disqualified, or only comments be given. Neither marks nor
certificates will be awarded to them. Please refer to the Rules and Regulations Point
3.3.2 and the Annex 3 “Procedure for Alteration Application” in the Syllabus for more
details.

3. Class N872 - Original Composition

3.1 Competitors should submit their composition together with the required documents /
materials to the Association via the “Original Composition (N872) Documents
Submission” in “Preparation for Festival” on the Music Festival page of the Association
website. The deadline is 1 December 2022 (5:00 p.m.).
3.2 A completed “Teacher’s Declaration” certifying that the composition is the competitor’s
own original and unaided work must be included in the submission. The template of
Teacher’s Declaration can be downloaded from “Others / Forms” on the Music Festival
page of the Association website.
3.3 Please refer to the class description of Class N872 in the Syllabus for the other
documents and materials to be included in the submission. Competitors submitting the
required documents / materials late or using instruments not listed in the class
description will be disqualified.
3.4 Competitors should submit the documents / materials in a format that fulfills the
requirements given in the class description. Competitors whose submitted documents
/ materials format do not match the requirements will be asked to amend before a given
deadline and pay a handling fee of $100.

4. Class N572 - Chinese Instrumental Ensemble - Secondary School

As the COVID-19 epidemic situation in Hong Kong has recently subsided and the
Government had announced the relaxation of certain social distancing measures, the
Association now updates the competition requirement of Class N572 Chinese Instrumental
Ensemble - Secondary School. For details, please refer to point 4 of this Circular in Chinese.

5. Precautionary Measures Taken by the Association Office

To safeguard the health and well-being of the visitors and staff members of the Association,
the Association will continue to maintain the following epidemic control measures at our
Office:

 Temperature of the visitors will be taken.

 The Office provides alcohol-based hand sanitiser to visitors.
 All visitors entering the Office must wear a mask.
 All visitors should use the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app to record their visit and check
whether there is a COVID-19 patient attending the Office about the same time.
 One should not attend the Office in person if he or she is unwell or subject to
compulsory testing.

- The Association issues circulars to members from time to time to provide them with
important / updated information. Members should study each of them.
- With the membership number and the password, members can log in to the Member’s

1. 網上報名及提交支票日期
請會員務必在以下截止日期內於網上報名及提交報名費支票。
事項 日期
會員替其學生於網上報名 2022 年 10 月 27 日（下午 5 時）
會員提交報名費支票（以郵寄或親臨提交） 2022 年 10 月 31 日
另請注意以下事項：
1.1 整個報名程序包括（i）建立批次、（ii）收集或加入報名學生資料、（iii）確認報
名資料、（iv）提交報名批次給協會及 （v）付款。管理員須檢查資料及審批報名，
並於截止日期（即 2022 年 10 月 27 日下午 5 時）前提交報名到協會。提交批次前，
請仔細核對所有收到的報名資料是否屬於你的學生。
1.2 於 2022 年 10 月 26 日（下午 5 時）至 10 月 27 日（下午 5 時）期間，會員／參賽者
將無法透過批次獨立報名連結收集或填寫報名表，會員只可以透過填寫特定的
Excel 列表，再匯入系統，以提交新的報名資料或更新現有的報名紀錄。
1.3 請會員於截止日期或更早報名及繳妥報名費。因比賽分組工序繁複，恕協會未能接
納任何於限期後提交的報名及報名費支票，協會將會銷毀所有已提交的資料而不另
行通知。
1.4 會員在網上報名系統完成提交批次後，請立即下載付款通知書，核對繳費內容及
報名金額，以安排繳費。每張付款通知書只能使用一張支票或銀行本票支付報名
費。會員可郵寄或親臨提交。若會員未能於截止日期前完成報名手續（包括提交
批次及付款），該批次的所有學生將無法參加比賽。
1.5 如遇技術上問題，歡迎會員致電 OES 特定熱線（電話號碼：6217 3703 及 6851
3981），或以 WhatsApp 發送簡訊及圖片（號碼：6851 3981）查詢。此兩條特定熱
線將開通至 10 月 27 日。辦事處職員將於辦公時間內回覆。

2. 自選樂曲
2.1 部份項目的參賽者須演奏／演唱自選樂曲。會員／參賽者須透過協會網站「音樂節」
頁面中的「準備音樂節」內「提交指定及自選樂曲相關文件」提交「自選樂曲表格」
（即 OC Form）、自選樂曲樂譜及「版權聲明信」（如適用）。
2.2 「自選樂曲表格」、「版權聲明信」可於協會網站「音樂節」頁面中的「其他／表格」
內下載。
2.3 截止提交日期為 2022 年 12 月 1 日（下午 5 時）。

2.4 如未能於上述截止日期前提交，會員／參賽者須在更改資料申請期（2023 年 1 月 11
日上午 10 時至 2023 年 1 月 17 日下午 5 時）內繳付手續費補交文件／資料，否則其
參賽資格將被取消，或參賽者只會獲評語，沒有分數及獎狀。詳情請參閱「比賽章程」
第 3.3.2 項及《比賽目錄》附錄三「更改申請程序」。

3. 項目 N872 - 作曲
3.1 參賽者須經協會網站「音樂節」頁面中的「準備音樂節」內「提交作曲項目（N872）
相關文件」提交作品及所需文件／資料，截止日期為 2022 年 12 月 1 日（下午 5
時）。
3.2 作品須連同證明提交作品為參賽者自行完成的原創作品的「老師聲明信」一併提
交。該聲明信樣本可於協會網站「音樂節」頁面中的「其他／表格」內下載。
3.3 參賽者尚有其他資料及文件須一併提交，請參閱「比賽目錄」內項目 N872 的項
目說明。參賽者逾期提交所需文件／資料，或選取沒有列於項目說明內之樂器作
曲，將被取消資格。
3.4 參賽者須依照所要求之格式提交文件／資料，否則將被要求於限期內作出更正，
並須同時繳付手續費$100。

4. 項目 N572 - 中樂小組合奏 - 中學組

因應本地新冠疫情近日放緩及香港政府早前宣布放寬部分社交距離措施，協會現更新項
目 N572 「中樂小組合奏 - 中學組」之比賽要求，容許加入吹管樂器，詳情請參閱附件
一。如會員已就此項目提交「自選樂曲表格」，可於截止提交日期（即 2022 年 12 月 1
日下午 5 時）前重新提交一次。

5. 辦事處防疫安排
為保障訪客及協會職員健康，協會辦事處將實施以下防疫措施：
 所有訪客進入辦事處前須量度體温；
 如有需要，訪客可使用協會提供的酒精搓手液；
 所有訪客進入辦事處必須全程配戴口罩；
 所有訪客使用「安心出行」流動應用程式儲存出行記錄及了解是否曾與確診者在
相若時間到訪；
 如有不適或正接受強制檢疫，請勿親臨辦事處。
