Balloon Caterpillar

Objectives
In this game, each team will have to walk from one point to another with balloons in
between them, they have to work as a team and pass the five cup markings and go back
where they started while they have to make sure that no balloons will fall while they are
doing the task. Once the entire caterpillar team crosses the line faster, that team won.

Balloon caterpillar is an excellent way to test teamwork and coordination, as the success of
the team depends on equal participation of every team member. The game also encourages
team members to open up and share creative ideas.

Tests the dependability of the team members, as they struggle to cross the finish line while
keeping the maximum number of balloons intact. Coordination, trust, and team effort come
into play even as team members get to know each other.

Materials
6-8 balloons
10 Plastic cups
Stones for cups
Yarn for starting point markings or any improvise lines will do.
Rules and Mechanics
1. The 8-10 members will have to divide as 2 teams.
2. Have the players line up, in each group, one behind another in a straight line.
3. Have each player place their balloons Infront and hold it using their stomach to stick
behind another player’s back.
4. Do not hold the balloon with hands instead raise both arms in sidewards.
5. Walk together like a caterpillar in an eight or zigzag style to cross the plastic cup markings.
6. Cross the 5-plastic cup going forward and back to the starting point.
7. Make sure that none of the balloons will fall as they cross from one point to another.
8. Not allowed to touch the balloons nor they’re groupmates, the moment one balloon will
fall or the moment they break the rules, then they have to start again from the starting
point.
9. This game needs a team work and synchronicity of movement while keeping the balloons
intact. The game needs at least 1 or 2 rounds to finish.
10. The faster group who reaches the end point in those rounds without breaking the rules
are the winner.
