STUDY UNIT 1

NON-DIGITAL & DIGITAL INSTRUCTION MEDIA

INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT

The traditional way of learning has been doing well up until it was challenged by the covid-19
pandemic which proved that the way doing things has to either be integrated with technology or
be changed which is why digital instruction media is introduced due to the fact that the world is
rapidly changing and technology is slowly taking up some space, therefore digital instruction
will help educators and learners to keep up and gain employability skills.

STUDY TIME

The time scheduled for this study unit is approximately 20 hours. Five hours will be spent on
studying the definition, types of instruction media and tools used in digital instruction media,
advantages and disadvantages of digital instruction media while the rest of the time is scheduled
for the impact of this shift in education to learners and educators. You will master this study unit
if you do all the activities given to you in class

 Name and describe types of non-digital and digital instruction media
 Articulate how digital and non-digital literacy can be implemented
