Day Three Reflection: (March 8, 2023)

Math (8:45- 9:45):

1. The best part of my lesson was to see students wanting to interact with my lesson
and write on the board the answers and doing hard work on their worksheet
2. The part of my lesson that I am most proud of is the confidence I am gaining and
how today felt like a better day today and to slowly see the understanding
3. I wasn’t expecting to see the connection they are making
4. If I were to teach that lesson again, something I would do the same is having
students come up to the board to write down their answer to get them moving around
still, and to give them extra time at the beginning of class to finish their worksheets
for like 15 min
.5. If I were to teach that lesson again, something I would do differently is remember to
do the word question I was going to do early
6. Next time, I will keep trying to walk around more to help students maybe I can find
more games for students to play
7. One way I planned to make sure every student could experience success was being
there to help anywhere I could.
8. I know the students learned what I intended to do. A lot of them wanted to come up
to the board and answer the question, even the last hard question I was doing. One
of the girls who struggled wanted to participate and write on the board.

Social (12:40- 1:40)

1. The best part of my lesson was to see students wanting to interact with my lesson as
they sat quietly to listen to the story that I read and had their own stories and finding
the comparison of the head smashed buffalo jump.
2. The part of my lesson that I am most proud of is to review the reflections that
students did and to pick up on what they learned and made me feel good to see the
understanding taking place.
3. I wasn’t expecting to see how they would enjoy the story
4. If I were to teach that lesson again, something I would do the same is the story which
help to reinforce my points that I would carry throughout the slideshow itself
.5. If I were to teach that lesson again, something I would do differently is remember to
maybe give more information may be about certain topics
6. Next time, I will keep trying to walk around more as I give the lesson to keep kids
focused
7. One way I planned to make sure every student could experience success was within
the reflection giving the option to write or draw the reflection, so those who struggle
to write still had a chance to express their knowledge to me.
8. I know the students learned what I intended to do as in their reflection the reinforced
things and the important parts of the lesson.
