The first point I took away from the last lecture was about Karma. I have always believed in doing good
and in return you will have good done to you. Whether that is being encouraging to someone in need,
helping others and expecting nothing in return. The simplest thing is time. Giving your time for others is
Education in my family is important but has always been pushed. It wasn’t until my time here at auburn
that I actually enjoyed education and enjoyed learning what I study. Listening to the last lecture
encouraged a life long goal you could say. I want to have a career in whatever it is I succeed in and return
to Auburn (hopefully) and teach. I have no idea how that would be possible or what schooling I would
need to be capable. The last lecture assured me of that, all of the professors I have really enjoyed
Jobs aren’t mandatory after college, in the last lecture I related heavily when he said you get out of
school and get a job because that’s what his family did. That’s something that I have felt is mandatory in
my life. I don’t think I will teach right away but I do feel a weight of pressure relieved from that message
Giving people time. I really liked this point from the lecture about if someone is being nice or the way
your wanting… give them time. Hearing that from someone older is a great thing to hear. I am always
told I am too quick to forgive and that I am not stern enough with friends and family.
