Introduction
The dictionary definition of the word telecommunications is: “communication
over a distance by cable, telephone or broadcasting.”
Telecommunications is a system that allows distant communication with the
help of electric signal or electromagnetic waves.
A telecommunication system is made up of components like emails, phone calls,
etc. Some examples of telecommunications are: The telephone network, the
radio broadcasting system and the internet.
The internet is a recent development in telecommunications that allows users to
a)send and recieve emails, b) create websites of information on theworld wide
web(www) and c) to obtain information from the websites anywhere in the world.

Handheld mobile phones are great examples of telecommunication as they are


easily accessible and can be used for different purposes.

development of Pakistan. This is because they are creating opportunities for the
development of both education and industry.
Role of Technology Pre Covid

Computers can support companies and save precious time in every industry or
workplace by keeping employees efficient and productive.
Computers in schools can help the students understand the fundamental
principles with audio or video instances.
In institutions computers will help students and educators do their duty more
effectively and efficiently and faster, and also let them express the same
knowledge to their others.
In many industries, computers are becoming a critical technology; only a few of
them are transportation, banking, electricity, telecom services, shopping carts, etc.
Computer are also used in the medical industry to help doctors diagnose diseases
easily and efficiently.

Having electronic travel systems so that if there are problems in the
system, we’ll become aware of these issues quickly. Since we’re in a
time when our travel systems can’t afford to be down for long, The
need to manage travel safely and efficiently in a post-pandemic world
will ensure that all issues will be handled promptly.

electronic passport is purely digital, while an electronic visa allows
travelers to bypass sending a photocopy of their passport to obtain a
visa.
