Learning Feedback Diary

Day 1:

On the first day of our community duty, we went to the house of the barangay captain to

introduce ourselves and also ask permission for our duty. On that day we identify the problem

that the 3rd nursing student gathered and for that we the 4 th year nursing student able to identify

and verify the data that they gathered.

Day 2:

On our second day, we verify those problems through the data that they gathered at first

there are parts that the 4th year nursing student confuse about the data but we were able to fix

them with the help of our clinical instructor. Moreover, verifying their work makes me realize

that being a CI is hard because you need to be with your students guiding them and checking that

thick book they did just to ensure if it is right.

Day 3:
On our third day, we went house-to-house visit to observe and ask to clearly verify the

data that the 3rd nursing student conducted, and with that, there are some minor problems just as

the morbidities and mortalities were in, they put the sign and symptoms of the diseases. But

overall, it was a fun experience because we were able to gain experience and build rapport with

the people of the community.

Day 4:

On our fourth day, we volunteer to be with those members of RHU Santo Domingo to

ask about their bathrooms and proper waste disposal with that experience I was able to assess

myself if being a nurse in the RHU is for me but definitely, it’s not. Moreover, we also decide to

visit the three houses from the mountain and with that, we’re able to experience and visit their

source of income wherein they make charcoals.

Day 5:

On our fifth day, we decide to do house-to-house again but only the selected house is

interviewed for our experience I can say I enjoyed it because we were able to talk to random

people and build rapport with them and were able to experience eating different fruits and some

of them offers snacks.

Day 6:

On our sixth day, there is an activity in their plaza wherein seniors are present during that

time and what we do, we offer to them that they can ask us to get their blood pressure and the

majority of them are high blood We try to convince them to have their monthly check-ups in

there RHU.
