1. How did you feel as you were giving compliments?

- At first, I am hesitant to give compliments because I thought it would make the

other person feel uncomfortable and things between us would be awkward.
However, it felt nice to give others compliments because they actually need it. I
felt grateful when I give compliments because I know that I’m sincere plus it’s
giving others the feeling of appreciation. I like others to feel that I appreciate
them and that they should not feel insecure because I wholeheartedly accept
them.

2. How was it like to get a compliment from somebody?

- It is boosting my confidence, it makes me wanna show more and be free of how I

really am. Receiving compliments on the thing that I thought is the ugliest part of
me really makes me emotional because I would have never thought that
someone appreciates my flaws.

3. How can giving words of affirmation help you?

- Giving words of affirmation helps me in building stronger relationships with

others. I consider it as self-respect when I know that I motivate people and
realize their self-worth.

4. What can you do to develop your self-esteem?

- I can develop my self-esteem by challenging myself. Think negatively and make

it a motivation to do greater things, to surpass the limits. I, myself can only be
confident if I believe in and accept myself. Also to stop comparing myself with
others and always put in mind that we are different and unique, be kind to me,
and take proper care once things go wrong.

5. How can you help develop your classmate's self-esteem?

- I can help develop my classmate’s self-esteem by recognizing them. Introverts

can be extroverts if I will engage with them by laughing with them, asking their
advice, and importantly complimenting them, especially on things that they felt
insecure about.
