Are you ready for the retreat? We really can’t wait to meet all of you and to get to know you in person.
As you will see in the directory section, you are all very diverse and from very different walks of life! The
four days we will spend together will be a journey that explores the use of different activities to help you
network and connect more easily. Our activities focus on the mind, body and soul through sharing
experiences, organized networking, business workshops, fitness & fun, relaxation or artistic expression.
We ask you to be open and flexible to try all experiences and to fully immerse yourself across all parts of
the agenda.

US EMBASSY RULES
• You will share a room with one (1) other alumnus and that exceptions will not be permitted under any circumstances.
• You will take the transportation provided to and from the camp and exceptions will not be permitted.
• You will be available for the full duration of the camp.
• You promise to actively participate in ALL of the sessions as a contributor and will be on time.
• You agree to start every day at 7 am sharp.
• You will pay late fees if you are late. 5 LE if you are late for the first 5 minutes. 50 LE if I you are late for 15 minutes.
200 LE if you are late for more than 15 minutes.
• Failing to comply with any of the above-mentioned points will result in leaving the camp and bearing all the costs
including the hotel and transportation.
• You agree to complete 2 short surveys after the retreat. Failing to do so will affect my future participation in alumni
activities.
RESTAURANT SERVICE
The accommodation is all-inclusive plan, it includes breakfast,
lunch, and dinner.
There will be water dispensers available.
TRANSPORTATION DETAILS
We will leave Tuesday February 21. The exact meeting points for Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria is announced in the
email. Please make sure to leave work early that day and take into account traffic. We will be leaving Soma Bay on
Saturday February 25 around 2:00 pm heading back.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
A few important points that we need to communicate in advance:
▪ If you have a cough you will not be allowed to go on the bus – please take the responsible decision to
inform us of this in advance before arriving to the meeting point
▪ There will be sanitization stations across the main area in the camp- Please bring your mask and your
personal sanitization gel if that makes you comfortable to be wearing them
