Learning Standard: Demonstrate understanding of the Kingdom of God as preached by Jesus, of the Good News in the
Parables, and of the different Kingdom values reflected in the Beatitudes to preach God’s message of salvation through
social media and other communication platforms, to practice acts of gratefulness over God’s miracles, and to engage in
activities that promote love, forgiveness, and justice and peace at home, in school, and in the community.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify the Church’s teachings on the Kingdom of God (Parables of mustard seed, yeast, treasure, pearl, and net).
(Day 1-2)
2. Explain how social media can be used to spread the Kingdom of God. (Day 3-5)
3. Explain the message of the Beatitudes. (Day 7)
4. Identify the beatitudes. (Day 8-9)
5. Describe the role of St. Joseph in sanctification of souls. (Day 10-12)
6. Relate personal experiences that reflect the values of love, forgiveness, and justice and peace especially at this
trying time. (Day 13-14)

Day 1-2: Parables Date: October 25-26, 2022

1. The learners will four pictures and one word. (Parables)


2. CORE VALUE/ Vision-Mission: The learners will answer the question “What is parable?”
3. The facilitator will narrate the parable of Mustard Seed.
4. The learners will answer the question “What is the message of this parable?”.
5. The facilitator will narrate the parable of the Yeast.
6. The learners will answer the question “What is the message of this parable?”.
7. The facilitator will narrate the parable of the Treasure.
8. The learners will answer the question “What is the message of this parable?”.
9. The facilitator will narrate the parable of the Pearl.
10. The learners will answer the question “What is the message of this parable?”.
11. The facilitator will narrate the parable of the Net.
12. The learners will answer the question “What is the message of this parable?”
13. The learners will answer the question “What did you learn today?”.

Day 3-4: The use of Media to Spread the Kingdom of God Date: October 27-28, 2022

1. The learners and facilitator will review about the parables.

3. The facilitator will explain the Social Media.
4. The facilitator will ask the learners “Who among you use social media?”
5. The learners will answer the question “How do you often use social media?”
6. SUBJECT INTEGRATION: The learners will answer the question “What is the purpose of your social media
account?”.
7. The facilitator will explain how to properly use social media.
8. The facilitator will ask the learners “Do you even think that it is possible to use your social media in spreading
Kingdom of God?”.

Day 6-7: The message of the Beatitudes Date: November 4&7, 2022

1. The facilitator and the learners will review the last topic. (The use of Media in sharing the Kingdom of God)
2. The learners will answer the question “What is your idea about Beatitudes?”
3. CORE VALUE/ Vision-Mission: The learners will write their own idea of beatitudes to their CLE notebook.
4. The facilitator will explain the meaning of beatitudes.
5. The learners will be grouped into four.
6. The learners will make a group sharing about the message of the Beatitudes.
7. The learners will select representative from their group to present the summary of their sharing.
8. The facilitator will evaluate the learners’ output.
9. The facilitator will discuss the message of the Beatitudes.
10. The learners will answer the question “What did you learn today?”

Day 8-9: The 8 Beatitudes of Matthew Date: November 8-9, 2022

1. The facilitator and the learners will review the last topic. (The message of Beatitudes)
2. The learners will answer the question “Who is St. Matthew?”
3. The facilitator will show why Matthew created the 8 beatitudes.
4. The learners will identify the 8 beatitudes of Matthew.
5. SUBJECT INTEGRATION: The learners will write to their CLE notebook the meaning of each beatitudes.
6. The facilitator will explain each beatitude.
7. The learners will answer the question “What did you learn today?”.
8. The facilitator will conduct a summative assessment (Written Works No. 2)

Day 11-12: The role of St. Joseph in sanctification of souls Date: November 11&14, 2022

1. The facilitator and the learners will review the last topic. (Beatitudes)
2. The learners will answer the question “Who is St. Joseph?”
3. The facilitator will introduce St. Joseph
4. SUBJECT INTEGRATION: The learners will play a game. (Jumbled letters of Sanctification of souls)
5. The learners will answer the question “What is sanctification?”.
6. The facilitator will explain the meaning of sanctification as being free from sins or being purified.
7. The learners will answer the question in their CLE notebook “What is the role of St. Joseph in purifying our
sins?”
8. The facilitator will explain how St. Joseph guided Jesus, so that Jesus can guide the people.

Day 13-14: Love, forgiveness, and justice and peace. Date: November 15-16, 2022

2. The learners will guess what word is being portrayed by the pictures. (Love, Forgiveness, Justice, and Peace)
3. The learners will answer the question “Have you ever felt being loved, forgiven, and peaceful?
4. The learners will be grouped into their big CLG.
5. CORE VALUE/ Vision-Mission: The learners will share their most memorable story about Love, Forgiveness,
Justice, and peace.
6. The facilitator will explain the value of Love, Forgiveness, Justice, and peace.
7. Each group will share the summary of their sharing.
