A. Description
In this workshop, we will examine the application of Agile Project Management by reviewing various
models and case studies. We will also discuss project management and leadership challenges currently
faced by organizations. Students are encouraged to consider the new reality for managing projects of all
types and sizes
B. Organization
Lectures, class discussion and activities will be used to achieve the course objectives.
C. Course Objectives
a. Learn to apply Agile Project Management tools and techniques to IT and non-IT projects.
b. Identify and propose solutions to current leadership and project management challenges. Students
are invited to propose leadership topics related to their work experiences.
c. Topics include:
1. Project Management Frameworks
2. Agile Project Management
3. 2021 PMP Exam and comparison of PMBOK Guides 6th and 7th Editions
4. Leadership –Under Pressure
5. Project Disruption
6. Change Management

F. Team Final Presentation: Each team will Select a topic related to how Agile Project Management is
applied to a non-software project within an organization. The team will create a 10 -minute
presentation to be presented in class on 5 February during class. Presentation only – no paper
is required.
