Room 264 rules and

procedures
1. Students must remain in their seats at all times in class, unless
instructed otherwise.
2. Students are responsible for closing the door at the beginning of
class and answering it, should someone arrive at a time during
the period.
3. Students man the candy store, which is open daily during the
first few minutes of class.
4. Any candy purchased from the candy store must be finished
before the end of the period.
5. Candy can be earned for stellar participation throughout the
week.
6. The class also operates on a weekly raffle system, whereby
students can earn raffle tickets by participation.
7. Students have a grace period of three strikes before being issued
a lunch detention for the following offenses: tipping in their
chair, talking out of turn, or disrespectful behavior.
8. Students may use the restroom within the first five minutes of
class or the last five.
9. Students will be ready for class by the time the music stops
playing at the beginning of class – one student will press the
space bar when instructed to stop it.
10. If there is a number written on the board, students should
bring their book to class and have it opened to that page by the
time class is starting.
11. Students who do not come to class with a pencil may sign
one out from the container at the front of the room but must
return it at the end of the period.
