This week I continued working on my presentation.

I have divided my presentation into

five sections. The first section will discuss the Office of Sustainability and its contributions to

GCSU students. The second section will explain the relationship between holistic healing and

public health as well as the different types of natural alternative medicine and its benefits. The

third section will discuss the relationship between modern medicine and its environmental

impact. This section will also expand on the controversy behind alternative medicinal practices.

The fourth section will expand on the research that I have done to see how Georgia College

students feel about natural alternative medicine. This research is very important because the data

will help direct the Office of Sustainability on how to advertise sustainable ways of achieving

health and wellness. The last section will discuss the contributions to the Office of Sustainability

and how students can benefit from the research that I have done. The overall goal is to provide

the Office of Sustainability with a new perspective of encouraging sustainable practices. Not

only is living sustainably good for the environment but it can be beneficial to a person’s health as

well.

Other than organizing and creating the outline for my presentation, I completed the mock

interview as well as uploaded my resume to handshake. The main challenge I faced while doing

the interview was being as detailed and specific as possible. Typically, when I am being

interviewed, I already know the position I am interviewing for, so my responses are influenced

by that. Since the interview did not specify a specific position, it was difficult to elaborate so I

felt like my responses were vague. My main concern right now is getting the results back on

Monday for my research project. I am confident that I will finish the other parts of my

presentation within a reasonable time frame. However, since I have never had to analyze real

data, I am worried that it will take longer than I expected.
