Checking of attendance
Review about argumentative essay

B. Motivation

Video presentation about 3 different writing techniques Informative,


Persuasive, argumentative

C.Presentation

The teacher presents the topic for the day and posts the day's objectives
that are going to be attained.
Recall the various writing techniques Informative , persuasive,
argumentative
Differentiate the purpose of informative, persuasive and argumentative
writing techniques.
Analyze a paragraph based on the techniques employed by the writer
D. Activity Proper

Let the students recall the various writing techniques

b. Analysis

c. Abstraction
The teacher will give a brief description about informative, persuasive and
argumentative topics. The teacher will explain the structure, characteristics or
features and purposes of different writing techniques

d. Application
Let the students write using the venn diagram,compare and contrast the 3
writing techniques, They will identify similarities and one difference among the
techniques.

III. EVALUATION

Directions: Analyze the technique employed by the writer by identifying which


paragraph in the text is informative, persuasive and argumentative.

Directions: Answer the following questions.

2. Identify Steps or techniques in a critiquing selections
