The above quote has been my greatest source of mo va on and whenever I have faced
any bo lenecks or hurdles, I have abided by this quote and have powered through my
hardest mes.

Paying heed to the current mes, the importance of health has become magnanimous more
than ever. The exchange of informa on and careful transfer and maintenance of health
records has become more dominant. As far as I can remember, my interest in this domain
has increased vehemently over me and this curiosity of mine has mo vated me to pursue a
eld that can enrich me with the skills to work in such elds. Health informa cs, the elds
that are a blend of the biological sciences and technical engineering collec vely ful ll the
aim of developing methods to study and process the pa ent’s data. I am very excited to step
into this domain and learn skills that can enhance the world of healthcare services by
improving the informa on processing system in hospitals. And in labs.

Academics
I am a very ac ve and ambi ous person since my childhood. Teachers used to encourage me
both in my studies and extracurricular ac vi es. I was always the teacher’s favorite student
and I love to be one. I am blessed with the most suppor ve and understanding family, it was
my father who recognized my interest in science and encouraged me in the eld since then. I
have par cipated in a few science exhibi ons conducted by my resident school. When I
stepped into secondary school at TRIVENI HIGH SCHOOL, that’s when I realized my linearity
towards science. I started working on my interest and achieved the best out of it with a
grade of A in science and with an aggregate of 7.8% in my secondary school.

A er the comple on of my secondary school, I decided to choose healthcare as my career

eld and got admi ed into a reputed SANTHINIKETAN JUNIOR COLLEGE higher secondary
school in my state. I opted for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as my major subjects. As it is
my passion to gain knowledge in the eld of science, I passed it with dis nc on with an
aggregate of 72.8 %.

 The day to decide my future by selec ng the undergraduate course has come, that day I le
all the easiest academic courses behind and chose to be a graduate in Life science and took
up a Bachelor of Science. I graduated in 2021 with an aggregate of 82.2%. and this score in
my bachelor’s program from our university is considered an excep onal score because of
our university standards and the di culty level of its curriculum.

During the years of gradua on, I dealt with subjects in chemistry and zoology such as
Biochemistry, cell biology, Gene cs and Biomolecules, Pharmacology, Medicinal
Chemistry, Organic chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, and analy cal methods in chemistry,
chemical technology, and drug development and drug design respec vely. A systema cally
scheduled laboratory program provided me with hands-on experience and helped to
consolidate my theory lessons and exposed me to the applica on of the knowledge gained.
The undergraduate program turned out to be quite comprehensive and gave me a broad
perspec ve of the eld.

Why This Course?

Having acquired a strong founda on in the eld of Bachelor of Science. through a rigorous
undergraduate program, at this point, I feel that it is the right me to take up graduate
studies. I wish to raise my understanding of the nuances of the health informa cs and
bioinforma cs elds and use this knowledge to further my chances of improving my career.
A natural ap tude for science, a sense of logic, analy cal ability, capacity for diligent work,
and high academic creden als, and the 3-year curriculum exposed me to the en re gamut of
science courses. Thus, laying a strong founda on in health informa cs. My main areas of
interest were the fundamentals that I have acquired during my Bachelor of Science program
have paved the way for my career in the stream of Chemistry, Zoology.

Why do I want to study in the USA?

The United States of America is the greatest host for students wishing to pursue higher
educa on from all over the globe. The best part about the educa on system of the USA is
the availability of quality educa on with a exible range of exper se. This opportunity of
studying in the United States of America will not only bring to me the extensive learning
