1.0 EARTH WORKS
1.1 DISMANTLING OF EXISTING STRUCTURE

Dismantling work of P.C.C, R.C.C , Flooring and Steel Structures with

Embedded Parts (if any) and etc, including stacking of steel bars and

disposal of unserviceable material lead as per direction of Engineer in
charge.

1.2 EXCAVATION

Excavation for foundation in all kinds of soil, dry or wet, hard or soft,
including all operation. Complete with breaking clods, levelling, dressing,
dewatering, shoring & compacting, including lifting, shifting or disposing of 741.0 m3
surplus earth outside the premises or as per instruction and specification
of the Consultant and approval of Client (Site Engineer).

1.3 EARTH FILLING

Filling natural earth and consolidating by ramming in layers not exceeding

150mm thick layers to obtain 95% modified AASHTO density.The filling
material should be well graded sand free from fines ideally lying in
AASHTO or A-3 category including all lead and lift and carrying out field 104.0 m3
density tests,modified proctor tests and CBR test as per instructions and
specifications of the Consultant and approval of Client (Site Engineer).

2.0 PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing and laying Plain cement concrete of specified strength for

foundation using approved quality 3/4" max. size graded crushed
aggregate & fine aggregate of required properties including approved
Steel formwork & its removal, all operations of vibrating, levelling,
compacting and curing etc. complete as per specification & instruction of
the Consultant.
Note:
1. SR cement should be used for all works.
2. Mix design for each type of sample will be provided by the Contractor

2.1 PCC 1:4:8 (1 cement 4 sand and 8 coarse aggregate) . 77.0 m3

2.2 PCC 1:3:6 (1 cement 3 sand and 6 coarse aggregate) . 50.0 m3

2.3 PCC 1:2:4 (1 cement 2 sand and 4 coarse aggregate) . 2.5 m3

3.0 REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing and laying Reinforced cement concret shall be developed 28
days cylindrical strength of 3000psi, using approved quality 3/4" max.
size graded crushed aggregate & fine aggregate including approved form
work & its removal, all operations of vibrating, levelling, compacting and
curing etc complete but excluding the cost of steel as per specification &
instruction of the Consultant.To confirm the desired cylinderical strength
3000Psi(minimum) at 28days(3+3 minimum at 7 and 28 days) the cube
tests will be carried out by contractor from laboratory.
Note:

4.0 STEEL REINFORCEMENT
Providing and laying hot rolled grade 460 steel reinforcement bars
complying with BS-4449 including the cost of straightening, cutting,
bending, binding, wastage and such overlaps as are not shown in
drawings, placing in position on cement concrete 1:2:4 precast spacer
block or M.S chairs, tying with binding wire (GI wire of 18 guage),
including cost of chairs and wires etc. in all kinds of RCC works.

4.1 Deformed Steel ( Yield strength of 60000psi). 33.0 Tons

5.0 NON-SHRINKAGE GROUT

Supply & laying of 25 mm thk. non-shrinkage grout, having minimum
compressive strength of 40 N/mm2 in accordance with the Company
specification, standard drawings and etc.

5.1 25 mm thk non-shrinkage grout. 33.0 m²

6.0 DAMP PROOF COURSE

Providing and laying 50mm or 2in thick 1:2:4 (1 cement 2 sand & 4 coarse
aggregate) DPC under walls and entrance over plinth beams as per
instruction and specification of the consultant and approval of client. 100.0 m²

7.0 BITUMEN COATING

Providing & Laying two coats of PB4 Hot Bitumen or approved make
imported water proof chemical inside and outside foundation upto finished
ground level & sides of footings, including cost of all material, labour, 579.0 m²
equipmenetc complete as per drawing and specification and as directed
by the Engineer Incharge.

8.0 STONE SOLLING

Providing and laying stone solling of approved quality below foundations
and flooring including hand packing vertically and filling voids with
spawels(stone dust), consolidating and compacting with mechanical
means, as per drawings , specification and instructions of site Engineer.

8.1 150 mm or 6in thick 483.0 m²

9.0 CURB STONES

Providing and laying precast fairface 1:2:4 PCC curb stones of size
172.0 RM
12''×18''×6'' around the bays.

10.0 JOINT SEALENT

Providing and applying 10mm thick SIKA-FLEX PRO-2HP joint sealent as

shown in drawing. Completion of this job shall be in accordance with 361.0 RM
specifications,and approval of client.

11.0 PAVERS
Providing and laying 80mm thick invicrete pavers having the strength
greater than 60 tons axle load including joint filling fine sand to fill the 1552.0 m²
gaps as per drawings and specifications.

as anchor bolts, plates, angles, gratings, hand rallings etc. Complete as 2.00 Tons
per drawings, specifications and approval of Client.

16.0 BLOCK MASONARY

Providing and laying block masonary 150mm thick with good quality
blocks in 1:4 (1 cement 4 sand) and as per specification and instruction of 212.0 m2
Consultant and Client from approved quality.

17.0 PLASTERING

Providing and laying smooth Plaster with cement mortar 1:4 on walls,
columns,slabs etc. on straight or curved surfaces including providing and
fixing expanded metal at the junction of structural members and
brick/block walls, making chamfered edges rounding of corners at
junctions, plaster stopper metal corner beads, drip course where required,
hacking of RCC surface and curing including the cost of scaffolding etc. at
any height. All work will be carried out as per specifications and
instructions of site Engineer.

18.0 PAINTS
18.1 PALSTIC EMULSION PAINT
Providing and applying three coats of plastic emulsion paint, of required
color and shade to internal walls including preparation of the base by

"Plastron Premier Sealer" on the entire surface, filling depressions with
putty,cutting the surface and rubbing smooth finally with sand paper

24.0 UPVC DRAIN PIPE

Providing & Fixing 4" dia UPVC down take pipe and deep sumps 1'-0"×1'-
0"×1" of approved make including all fittings such as clamps, bends,
shoes with joints filled with cement complete in all respect including
painting two coats with approved paint over a coat of primer to match the
colour of the building as directed by the Engineer Incharge.

25.0 STEEL LOUVERS DOOR AND VENTILATORS

Supply, fabricating & fixing in position of steel louvers door and

ventilators of store room as per size mentioned in drawings comprising of
M.S angle frame, heavy duty hinges, handles & locking arrangments both
side, etc including painting with 3-coats of synthetic enamel paint of ICI or
approved equivalent over a coat of red lead primer complete in all respect
and as directed by Engineer Incharge.
