Text Example
The First World War (WWI) was fought from 1914 to 1918 while the Second World
War (or WWII) was fought from 1939 to 1945. They were the largest military
conflicts in human history. Both wars involved military alliances between different
groups of countries. The two warring groups of WWI were the Allied Powers and
the Central Powers while the two warring groups of WWII were The Allies and The
Axis powers. WWI was triggered by the assassination of the archduke of Austria-
Hungary while WWII was triggered by the bitterness over the outcome of WWI
which was used by Adolf Hitler to lead Germany to war. WWI was fought in the lines
of trenches, WWII, on the other hand, was fought in a broader scale using modern
weapons and methods including the atomic bomb.

reason, and the result or consequences of a
certain phenomenon. This pattern may
discuss both the causes and effects, the causes
only, or the effect only.
Text Example
Global warming has become a grave problem which needs undivided attention. The
natural causes include the release of greenhouses gases which are not able to escape
from earth, causing the temperature to increase. Further, volcanic eruptions are also
responsible for global warming. That is to say, these eruptions release tons of carbon
dioxide which contributes to global warming. After that, the excessive use of
automobiles and fossil fuels results in increased levels of carbon dioxide. In addition,
activities like mining and cattle rearing are very harmful to the environment. One of
the most common issues that are taking place rapidly is deforestation. So, when one
of the biggest sources of absorption of carbon dioxide will only disappear, there will
be nothing left to regulate the gas. Thus, it will result in global warming. Steps must be
taken immediately to stop global warming and make the earth better again.

Pollution is one of the greatest threats to our environment in the
21st century. The best way to curb pollution is to plant trees and
care for them. Throwing garbages everywhere must also be
controlled in order to fight pollution on the land. To fight the
pollution of water, sewage treatment plants must be built. We
also must see that industrial effluents are not released directly
into the rivers. Above all, we all should join hands in maintaining
the ecological balance.

It is critical to recycle because recycling keeps trash out of the landfill.
According to the EPA, in the U.S. they are currently able to keep 35 percent of
our trash out of landfills and incinerators through recycling and composting. In
addition, recycling conserves energy. Every year, recyclers across the country
save the same amount of energy it would take to power 14 million homes for a
full year. Furthermore, recycling reduces pollution. The process of extracting
raw materials can produce a lot of pollution. Because more recycling means
less extraction, it also means less pollution. In conclusion, recycling can help
protect the environment while conserving natural resources. It is critical to
recycle and minimize the amount of waste we are putting into the atmosphere.
