What is the organizational strategic goals/vision/objective that this project supports? How

What structure is used in the organization for project management (matrix, functional,
projectized? How is the project team structure? What stakeholders are directly affecting the
project team (use dotted lines to connect the project team to those critical stakeholders)? Why do
you have an organization chart and what is its purpose? How does team selection fit into the
PDSA and DMAIC? Selection of team members. A detailed explanation of how many team
members will be needed and how they will be developed into a high performing project team is
required. Quality tools should be applied. The quality tools can be attached as an appendix to

Project Charter
Explain the purpose of the charter and how it benefits the project. How does the project
charter fit into the PDSA and DMAIC. A project charter needs to be developed. Again quality
tools should be applied, such as an FMEA or HOQ linking the project to an overall strategy.
Note: It is not important that the actual FMEA be performed, but a form and the elements that
support performing the FMEA need to be included. In Figure 2, explain the project charter.
