Although no matter how surely they are, they can't affect the outcome of the exam, it still depends
on your faith and your preparation while working your way to it. There is also a board exam
superstition regarding the pencil used to answer the exam, and it is said that the taker should
break it right after taking the exam to prevent failing (Ghaz, 2019).
In the development of moral principles, the student examinees' family, peers, and the society are
important factors in the establishment of their belief system, which later on reflects the moral
principles they uphold. Superstitious notions were initiated to eliminate the student examinees'
fears and to safeguard their emotional sphere against negative feelings and any unfavorable
possibilities (Ocampo, 2018b).
According to Tobacyk, J. J., & Milford, G. (1984).More educated parents are less prone to practice
superstitions like good fortune, omens, benevolence, and kindness, according to their children.
Additionally, since some people still hold onto the superstitious beliefs and practices of their
ancestors and pass these beliefs on to their children through cultural acceptance and
socialization, the administration may include an accurate understanding of this issue in the
curriculum, which is thought to be very beneficial for the socialization process.
According to Hoffmann, A. O. I., Plotkina, D., Roger, P., & D’Hondt, C. (2022).Some people use
superstitious beliefs as a coping mechanism in stressful situations, but it's still unclear if
superstition is favorably or unfavorably related to people's dread of the Covid-19 pandemic and
the part that people's locus of control plays in this.
